Garbage
So I couldn’t get the NEW version of my old Gutenberg app to work and I figured what the hey, it’s supposed to be free but I’ll pay my few $$ and get the no ad Pro. Big mistake!! Huge!! Pushed the button & it just sits there “loading”!! Waited an hour, still n loading. Dumped the app & tried again!! Still loading!! Piece of junk. And not free!!

Cannot believe I paid money for this useless very amateur effort.
Help
How do you close a book without closing the app?
Is there any help function?
So far, app is useless and a waste of money

Can't find sign in or locate library of stored books
Edited same day: ok I figured it out. I was on my old iPad when I wrote the review and there weren't any books. They are stored on the new iPad. I really regret my purchase as I can't sync them and would have to read each book on only one device or the other. The ads were very distruptive. Some are unobtrusive but ever so often a video will pay and loudly and disrupt my thoughts. So that is why I removed the ads. I couldn't evaluate it during the blaring interuptions. I hope the money let's the developer make some improvements. For now I am going to delete it and keep looking for something better.
Earlier:
i got a new iPad in 2021 and my old Gutenberg app wouldn't run on it. So searched on App store and and liked to format. Transferred over 7 books and played around with reading a couple. Decided to click on no ads and pay $4.99. It launched a new pro version app to download. Did that.
I don't see any way to sign in. I don't see any library in the old app or any way to open the two books I played around with or the other 5 that I didn't yet open.
Please consider a tutorial. The app says it can store up to 100 books but it doesn't explain how I can find the books I have "stored".
I would have hoped the non profit app would let me see the titles I have alreaded downloaded so I can search and add them to the pro app. Even better, I it would let me sign in and so the titles are available on the pro app. Or better yet, if the "no add" had removed the ad feature from the app I was in instead of requiring a second app to be downloaded.

Response from developer
Hi, Thank you for the purchase of the app. The PRO version and the Free version are 2 separate apps. They do not store the books in a cloud or a server, therefore you don't need to make an account or sign in. The books are store within each app, so the books do not share between each app.
