The Apocrypha is a collection of ancient biblical books that were included in the original 1611 King James Bible but were later removed. These texts were positioned between the Old and New Testaments and are also known as Deuterocanonical books by some Christian traditions.
The app offers an Audio Bible with Text-to-Speech narration, offline access to read and listen, auto-scrolling for continuous reading, full-screen mode, bookmarking, note-taking, custom highlights, adjustable fonts, and a powerful search engine.
The app is free to download and use, offering a selection of Apocrypha/Deuterocanonical books. Additional Bible apps from the same developer, such as the King James Version (KJV 1611) and World English Bible (WEB), are also available.
The free version includes the Apocrypha/Deuterocanonical Books such as 1 Esdras, 2 Esdras (with missing 70 verses), Tobit, Judith, Additions to Esther, Wisdom of Solomon, Sirach (Ecclesiasticus), Baruch, Letter of Jeremiah, Prayer of Azariah, Susanna, Bel and the Dragon, Prayer of Manasseh, 1 Maccabees, 2 Maccabees, and Laodiceans.
Yes, the app provides offline access, allowing you to read and listen to the Bible and Apocrypha without an internet connection. This feature ensures you can study scripture anytime, anywhere.
