The App is just as bad as the website , get the QR code then try to apply for eVOA click on the link just refreshes page back to QR code page ( on desktop)
try using App on ipad click apply for Visa on Arrival then states URL not found,
also when you get QR code and then apply for eVOA , just takes you to a blank page

time on this App on iphone /ipad/ desktop , sometimes up to 3 hours , would be just quicker to get visa on arrival, one of the worse Apps i have ever used !

This app is impossible to use properly. It feels like it was released without adequate real testing, and even after several updates, the same serious bugs remain unfixed. The app is still inconvenient, unstable, and poorly tested.
For a traveler who is outside Indonesia and preparing for a trip, this app should allow creating a full profile in advance, saving commonly used personal information, and reusing it later in a few clicks. There should be a separate button or a separate screen that opens a profile section where users can enter all frequently used data, save it, and edit it later if a passport, document, or any personal details change. Normal travel apps allow users to save frequent traveler or general traveler information for exactly this reason. This app does not provide that basic convenience.
Instead, you are forced to struggle with the app while standing in a long line before immigration or customs. After finally entering all the required data and receiving the arrival card as a QR code, saving the profile is still impossible. The “Save Profile Data” button does not save the profile, so the “Use Saved Profile” option becomes useless as well. You cannot create a separate saved profile in advance, and you cannot save it even after completing the arrival card. An app that should help travelers avoid queues and complete the process quickly does the opposite: it makes everything slower, more stressful, and more confusing.
Very often, users cannot even log in while they are outside Indonesia. In my experience, the app often fails to work from foreign IP addresses, which makes no sense for a service that should help foreign visitors prepare before arriving in Indonesia.
When trying to add a flight or submit an arrival card as a foreign visitor, the app constantly produces errors. Fields such as citizenship, nationality, and other personal information often reset, fail to save, or are not accepted correctly. The foreign visitor arrival card screen has many fields, and too many of them are buggy, unreliable, and frustrating to use.
Several interface languages were added, and that could have been a positive step, but the implementation is poorly tested. Texts overlap, labels do not fit properly, and some screens look as if they were processed by an automated tool or AI and then released without proper human review. Whether it was done by AI or by a person is not the main point: the result contains too many obvious errors, and the testing stage appears to have been missing.
I have reported these problems many times to immigration support and technical support, but the same issues have still not been fixed. This is extremely frustrating, especially for a service that travelers are expected to use.
If a country wants tourism and its travel business to grow, it should create convenient conditions for tourists. Judging by this app, the opposite is happening: instead of helping visitors, it creates extra problems, stress, delays, and confusion at the worst possible moment.
This app urgently needs proper testing, real bug fixing, a working profile system with a separate profile screen, editable saved traveler data, reliable access from other countries, and properly reviewed multilingual interface support. Until then, I cannot recommend it. In its current state, this app is not usable.
They still have not made a proper iPad version with landscape orientation, even though, in my opinion, most users would prefer to complete this kind of form in advance on a larger screen, either on a MacBook or on an iPad in landscape mode.

App worked first time. seemed easy to navigate the Visa on Arrival. Got our visas within minutes via email.

App crashes after second page. Just cannot enter a new arrival card. Nothing unusual about my arrival. Ok ok so I go to the website and do it there. It works. So then I go back into the app to retrieve the one I just did on the web, so it is easily accessible when I walk through customs. Nope, stupid app can’t retrieve it if it wasn’t created in the app.
I wonder why they even bothered making the app. It needed to do one thing and it can’t do it.

Too many bugs
Literally crashes every time I use it. Useless app lol
Embarrassing
This app crashes a lot. Can’t pass verification process. Doesn’t scan passport correctly. Letters become numbers and numbers become letters. Worse, the application fails many times.
