Unresponsive rude AI SLOP scam
I wish I could give this place zero stars. Never in my life had I had such a poor customer service experience with a company.
To start, once I began my free trial I realized this whole app is either unpopular literature or AI slop. As such, I went to cancel my free trial but could not for the life of me figure out how. Of course they wouldn’t make it easy, because then they’d make no money!! I emailed the company in January and unfortunately trusted it would be taken care of and forgot to check back in. Flash forward to today - I’ve been charged the absolutely insane price of 25 bucks a month. I once again reach out and the company calls me confused? That’s when they respond at all. This app is a worthless scam don’t even sign up for the free trial.

Fraud from start to finish
I never signed up for this service, not even for a free trial.

Don’t do it. The search bar is literally hidden. The books seem to be copied for another “free” website. They hide your ability to easily delete your access and once you delete the site instantly blocks your access. Super scammy vibes.

Misleading
Advertised price was $11.99 per month and the actual cost is $24.00 per month. Limited selection and website is difficult to navigate (the search at is hidden at the bottom of the page). Limited options: couldn’t find the books I wanted so I decided to cancel, but there’s no information about cancelling on any of the pages. Cancellation info is hidden - you have to read the fine print in the terms and conditions. If you want to cancel, log into your account and go to www.allyoucanbooks.com/cancel.

This is, by far, the worst possible option for books and audiobooks on the internet today. I signed up for a free trail hoping to find some modern books to enjoy. Upon accessing the site, I first noticed how clunky it is to navigate. The search option is TERRIBLE and requires scrolling all the way down the screen. The book selection is lacking, to say the least. Most of the modern books aren’t even complete books. They’re just poorly written summaries. There are plenty of classics on the app, but most of those can be found for free in the public domain. At $25/month, this awful service feels like theft. There is no direct way to cancel. You have to reach out to customer support (if you can even call it support) to get the link. If you cancel, you IMMEDIATELY lose access to everything, even if you’ve already paid for the full month. They cancel your account then and there, not 30 days from your last payment date. Don’t even bother reaching out to support either, because the only reply you’ll get is some corporate nonsense that sounds like it was written by an AI. They don’t allow refunds for partial service. Stay as far away from this horrible platform as possible. You’re much better off using something like Audible or Everand. OverDrive and Libby are free options if you have a library card. This company needs to be sued out of existence. I’ll be reporting the charges they snuck in after signing me up for a monthly subscription without my direct consent. HORRIBLE.

Do not get this app. There is no way to cancel your subscription and there is no way to search for books by titles. Worst app I’ve ever gotten.

This sight appears to be legit but doesn’t have any of the audio books or ebooks they advertise. I have also been trying to cancel my subscription for the past year reaching out to them 18 times without any success. I’ve reported them to my bank and Apple. Don’t get scammed!
Scam app - DO NOT USE!!!
Terrible app and misleading scam. I signed up for a “free trial” - instantly got charged $1USD to use it. They have the crappiest selection of old books and the app is hard to use properly. I couldn’t find the cancellation through the website or the app - it is hidden so they can charge people for the full $24.99USD subscription that they can’t get out of. I asked for refund and they have refused. Total scam - AVOID this app.

You’re going to need that…they hid the cancellation’link’ in the terms and conditions. It’s nowhere to be found in the account tab and they ignore your emails asking to cancel. I didn’t even have the app five minutes before I was looking to find how to cancel.

it’s so expensive trying to take £18 from my bank so i tried to cancel but can’t see where to cancel it from. when asked support i’ve received nothing back at all.
Guide: How to cancel your sub
Go into a browser where you are logged in and type allyoucanbooks.com/cancel and then scroll down and confirm you want to cancel your sub. Then never make the mistake of signing up with them again. Nothing I downloaded worked and the book I tried to read on their online reader was literally just a long summary. Think I'll stick to audible.

I signed up for the free trial and realized they didn't have the book I wanted so I immediately cancelled. A month later I see a $35 charge...
When I reached out to customer service they were entirely unhelpful, I tried explaining my situation but they said they don't provide refunds as their policy. It's completely unreasonable to not provide a refund when something went wrong on their end!
