Very poor program
Very poorly written application with even worse documentation. Bluetooth connectivity is terrible
Potentially the worst app ever
Don’t update to the newest version as it makes everything I say below worse.
While overall it’s fairly simple, the execution is terrible. Trying to program a zone to come on automatically is the most frustrating experience ever, and while you have three zones for some reason I could only have 1 timer, I created multiple but only 1 can be enabled… what’s the point of three zones? There is a cloud upload icon which appears to be a download button, huh?
Alexa integration it’s useless as it doesn’t know if lights are in or off. Has an ok job with overall power but forget zone control. Typically it’s Alexa, turn on backyard …repeat it again.
I love the idea, I wanted Alexa or google integration, but this it no good.
Hardware, good
App, bad (new version worse)
Alexa integration, horrific

Clunky app and very difficult set up
We are installing our landscape lighting using the IT Pro transformer. We had a very difficult time setting up the second transformer. I have many different lighting and Smart WiFi apps and I find this app to be terrible at adding a device, especially the second device. Upon setting up a new account, the icon just keeps on spinning — very frustrating!

Home owner who has had no issues with this app
I am an end user of this app and found it super easy to set up and use to control my lights around my pool. I don’t adjust or change much of anything all that often but when I do on the occasion I have yet to have any connectivity issues what so ever , that said I have a good strong Wi-Fi connection all around my home but really I can say this lighting control app has proved it self quit useful and easy to use, pretty intuitive user interface. Thanks guys keep up the good work, also the alliance lighting itself is really second to none in quality and appeal.

Terrible. Cannot get in or reset my password
Cannot get in or reset my password. It’s so bad it displays a json error when you try to reset the password.
Can’t get it to be automatic
I’ve set up the app per the instructions and no matter what I try, the lights will not turn on and off automatically. I’ve used my phone, my husband’s phone, unplugged the transformer, set up a new program and event, nothing works to make the lights go on automatically. I have to turn on the light manually from the app each time which is not useful at all.

No light!
It’s absurd that when the app doesn’t work my driveway has no Light It is so dangerous. And no resource to help. None. The app simply is not picking up the transformer. Out of nowhere. And now I’m stuck with no driveway lights.
Good for basic lighting
Our company installs Alliance transformers, and we use the WiFi smart plug to expand capabilities as the Bluetooth transformers have such a short range. In my experience, this is a reliable app for clients with a reliable WiFi connection and one or two transformers. Our clients typically set their lighting once and then rarely make changes since there is already a built in astronomical clock to adjust for seasonal daylight hours - if you’re wanting to make frequent changes, you’ll probably find that you need to refresh the WiFi from time to time to reestablish connection. That can cause some frustration, and I hope the developer is working on a fix.

It keeps forgetting WiFi info
The app is very basic and does an ok job with the basic light controls. But it will constantly forget my WiFi info. Even through the multiple WiFi updates this app has had. Every time I open the app I have to hope it remembered my WiFi.
Speaking of WiFi, the app should give an option for a default connection. The app defaults and prefers Bluetooth, which is slow and frustrating. Just let me use WiFi only like all my other smart-home devices!

Program Won’t Turn On
I have the transformer connected to the app via Bluetooth. I’ve also set up the Wi-Fi connection and no matter what I try, I cannot get one of the preset programs to turn on. I can turn my lights on manually if I hit the power button in the app, but they will not turn on automatically per the program as it’s supposed to.

Very handy, but could be better
I install low voltage lighting so I’m using Alliance transformers all the time. The app is handy for setting up clients systems and getting the app transferred over to them.
Can we please get a back button? I don’t want to close the app when I have to switch to a different transformer. Another good feature would be allowing longer transformer names. I can make the zone names as long as I want but Residence 2 doesn’t cut it for me when my list of transformers is long
