Annoying Loss of Features
We have had and used this app with no complaints for 5 years. This month I accidentally deleted the app off my phone, and then when I reinstalled it, not only did ALL my data get lost (despite regularly syncing), now I can only make 1 profile. Super frustrating.
Wiped two years worth of data
I used to love this app. I even subscribed to it. That is until out of no where all the data was lost.
Works poorly on smaller phone
Works fine on my pro max phones but it doesn’t scale correctly on my wife’s mini. Can’t switch profiles or see totals.
Misleading paid version
The paid version is misleading. It says that you can share the app across all your child’s devices. What it doesn’t tell you is that you have to pay for it on every single device.
Paid Version is Misleading
The paid version says you can share the tracker with your child. What they don’t tell you is that both devices have to pay for the premium version. False advertising. Stay away from this app as there are better options out there that allow sharing for a fraction of the price!
Won’t work on 2 devices
I paid for the premium subscription & it’s working well on my iPad. My issue is when I try to access the app through my phone, even though it shows I’ve paid the premium subscription, it keeps telling me I need to re-buy it to use the app at all. Very frustrating.
Now requires a subscription
This was perfect to track basics. But now it’s super $$&. Will be deleting.
Basic is what I need, but this wants more from me
I initially selected this app because it seemed nice and basic, and for a while it was. But now it nags me to subscribe to get more features than I want at a subscription price that does not at all justify the features it offers. The app would get 4-5 stars for what basics it offers, but now only 3 for trying to annoy me into over-paying for that which I do not need.

Everything is lost. I’m so upset. I bought the paid app and it lost everything.
Just what I was looking for
I wanted an app that was simple and easy to use to make keeping up with allowance easier than carrying around cash all the time. This is exactly what I was looking for and functions just as I need it to!
No fluff, no pay-to-play, just the essentials
This is an app that adds and subtracts amounts. Simple as it should be. It has been extremely useful in keeping track of three children’s allowances.
Simple and straightforward, but you do all the work
This app is clean and simple, a basic allowance tracker that doesn’t require a kids app on another device and doesn’t track chores. It pretty much tracks what you put in and what you take out. My only real complaint is a lack of functions around doing recurring or scheduled transactions, like adding X amount every Friday afternoon. No ads or nags. Recommended if you don’t mind doing all the work (or rather, remembering to do the weekly allowance add.)

Auto Allowance
I like how simple this is, but I wish you could setup and auto allowance, ie. Kid A gets $9 every Friday. It’s easy to subtract at the time of a purchase, but I don’t want to have to login weekly to add the same amount every Friday.
Really love the simplicity
Finally something simple and free! One nice feature would be to sync across multiple devices (maybe via iCloud) so that multiple parents can access the same data. Thanks!
Exactly the simplicity I needed
I have four kids that wanted to earn money. I don’t always carry cash, so I wanted to track what they earned, what they spend etc. But I don’t want/need all the bells and whistles of debit cards, investments, chore charts with point values and all of that. Just a ledger that tracks the total, and I just didn’t want to build my own spreadsheet. This is exactly that. You add each kid, you can add or deduct amounts and name the transaction. That is it. That’s all it does.
My only wish is that there was a way for the kids to have something on their phone that shows their total. Other than that, this is the simple, ad free ledger I wanted.
