Write the app so pilot could use flight plan info to calculate latest time off for duty time. Scheduled departure and arrival is usually legal (this app calculates this). But delayed departure with known flight time, debrief etc. is what this app should calculate. (it does not calculate it without a new flight plan, usually not the case for delayed departure). Current form is not useful.
October 2021. I tried the app again after seeing other pilot to use, and it appears to work well.
The questions and answers are good, please add simple link to this page in the app.
Also, it appears that entering in local time is easier to understand, simple conversion should be explain (like the one in the FAQ), e.g. ATL based (eastern time zone) reporting in SEA at 07:00 (pacific time zone), enter 10:00 - local ATL time at report.

Hello ALPA, we pay you millions of dollars a year in dues and this is the best you can do?
Almost worse than the Company’s IT department. Time for a significant upgrade. There also should be an easy place to set the time you came off your last 30 hours of rest and calculate the 168 hours.

The last update caused all the scales to disappear. So you can’t set date or time zone. Needs to get fixed

After iOS 13, app crashes while imputing flight data. Now worthless. Needs a fix ASAP. I expect more from “my union”
Waste of time
Another ALPA failure. Why are we supporting ALPA national with our paychecks? Complete waste of time and 2% of MY paycheck down the toilet. We required a last minute FAR117 calculation prior to push...

Terrible app
The app crashes or must be re-booted several times. My dues money should buy a better app.
Keeps logging out
Not sure what happened recently, but the app keeps logging me out. I’m not sure why I should have to log in with my ALPA credentials to use a simple duty time calculator anyway, but if you don’t have the login details handy nor an internet connection it’s basically useless.

Fix the app!
It is awful since the IOS 12 update. It crashes every time and doesn’t save any of your data. It even takes data from other pilots and puts them in my flight time now. We put enough money every month where this should be updated regularly.

App crashes every time I try to open it. For a while it was working fine, now it doesn’t work at all. Prior to consistently crashing, about four months of data vanished. Useless now. Iphone X ios 12.

Electronic Logbook Please
Overall the app is not great, but I have found that it works as advertised for ALPA members.
What would make it great, is if it was updated to also act as an electronic logbook. Only a few extra entry fields and the ability to generate a PDF record and this app could easily replace my pocket logbook in addition to tracking FAR 117 legality.

Glitchy
Was working fine until update, now locks up when trying to change the date or time zone. Also lost my entire history for the cumulative tracking
Unusable
Locks up when attempting to enter time zone. Incorrectly calculates flight hours because it will not accept time zone selection. After selecting "calculate" and "save" it fails to transfer the data to the next page correctly. Does not retain flight leg data entered, the flight disappears.
