Recent Update Causes App to Crash on Launch. Dumpster Fire of an App
The title says it all… but the most recent update as of September 21, 2026 causes the app to immediately crash over and over and over when attempting to launch the app. Restarting one’s phone or even uninstalling and reinstalling the app does not work. The most recent update literally bricked your entire app, making it 100% useless. These developers must’ve taken the government for a ride on the contract because this is the worst coded app I’ve ever seen. Two thumbs way down. Wish I could give worse than a one-star rating. What a joke.

Pathetic performance
Ever since its launch this app it does not work properly. No timely updations about bus running status. After latest the update of app version 2.70 it is working very poorly. Today itself it did not show my child’s bus running status both morning and afternoon time. And now when I logged in again to check it is showing my child is not assigned any bus which is untrue. I don’t understand what is the issue in the app after recent update. Please team see through it

Absolute TRASH app
This app is AWFUL. Like one of my genuine worst app experiences. Not exaggerating, it doesn’t update or even show the bus %80 of the time. Monday it shows the bus two miles away when it’s actually down the street. Tuesday the bus doesn’t even show up. Wednesday it works. Thursday the app shows the bus 10 miles away, I call the school and they say it’s actually at the school. Friday the bus is subbed and running a joint route but of course the app just doesn’t show a bus at all, no explanation. I can count on one hand the number of times it’s accurately tracked the bus. As a result, I’m waiting at the bust stop for 30+ minutes just to make sure I’m there for my kid when she gets off the bus. After the latest “update” you can’t even zoom out on the map!! I’m so annoyed that our district migrated to this useless app. It’s like their intention is to get us to stop using school buses altogether by making this app as unreliable as possible. Just daily stress wondering where my child is.

So Far So Good
I’m enjoying the app. It allows real time tracking so you’re not waiting for a 30 second time lapse before the app updates the bus location. It also allows for map panning and zoom in and out so you can get a better idea of where the bus is. So far so good in my book.
Map does not moves
I am not sure what has happened to the app since this recent update, but when I go in to track my child’s bus you cannot zoom out or move around on the map in order to get a better view of where the bus is. This is causing a lot of confusion since the bus is hardly on time n your not sure where the bus is until you see it on your road/street.

Needs to be improved for parents not just to hide impurities!
This is the first year I’ve had to use this app probably because the amount of complaining I did last year about not getting ANY type of updates on the buses! But NOW all of a sudden since said updates were made, I can’t even track our bus because you’ve reduced the viewers search perimeters and there’s only ONE reason you did that and that was to HIDE when the buses are doing something wrong. Because what other reason would you have to NOT allow parents/students to see where their bus is coming from. Before the update, we could see if there’s a big time gap or a small gap between the buses arrival but now we’re just limited to seeing the bus itself coming down one street at a time! For the people that aren’t native to NC, how are we supposed to know what street is what? You don’t even let us look at our home stop anymore let alone the buses distance from it. And I’m pretty sure the numbers listed on the app to reach dispatch was purposely falsified or disconnected! Literally gonna delete this app if changes arent made, literal waste of time.

Worse than Here Comes the Bus
While they have made a number of improvements to this app in a week, it still lags behind where it should have started given the features of the app it replaced.
Notifications remain inconsistent, in that not everything you check to be notified about notifies you.
The map is outdated and has the wrong school labeling, meaning they pulled data that was probably a decade old to produce this app, for some reason.
Substitute buses have not been logged properly, so tracking is worthless.
It states when the bus should arrive, but doesn’t log the actual arrival time, so there is no way to confirm when the bus arrives at school, for instance.
I have increased by rating by one star because they are clearly listening to feedback, but this was clearly not ready on day one, and I have to question the decision made to switch to something that remains incomplete and inconsistent with what parents need.
I have decreased the rating because they have made it worse. I can no longer zoom out to get a better idea of where the bus is.

HORRIBLE APP
Supposedly there was an update to this app a few days ago but I don’t see any improvements! I wish my kids school would have kept the previous app because this one is a complete headache. The app seems to only follow the morning bus route. At 3pm, I’m looking for the 3pm bus but instead, the app is displaying the morning bus and I cant figure out why. Additionally the app will often display both the AM and PM buses and it will jump from the PM bus to the AM bus. In other words I have NO CLUE where my children’s bus is. This is ridiculous. Something has to give!

Unreliable Tracking (continues after update)
The whole purpose of the app is to provide parents with an accurate and reliable way to track their children as they make their way to and from school and this app does NOT do that. Even after the update, the app does not show substitute buses accurately. We have to guess when the bus will arrive, both for pick up and drop off. This does not make us feel at all reassured. We’ve been sending an AirTag with our child, so at least we can see him on his way home. We wish we were be able to rely on the app that the school changed to this year.

No way to provide app feedback
There is not clear way to provide app feedback directly from the app and no way to do it through the company website. App only allows for a radius of .5-2 miles to be set for alerts. Almost our entire route is within a 1 mile radius since we are in the city. Please expand the alerting range and allow for a lower minimum AND make it easier to provide feedback.

What a waste
This app is terrible. No use for a bus tracking app if you are not going to be able to actually track and see where the bus is!!!!!! Bus jumps from one side of the mal to the other so you never know when the bus arrives to the stop. I had to drive 40 minutes through traffic and miss two hours of work to take my kid to school. Today the bus doesn’t even show so we’re sitting outside waiting. Horrible!!!! The Charlotte school district needs to find a solution, this is not sustainable for parents or students.

Frustrating app
My experience with this app has been horrible to say the least! The map doesn’t even accurately show the bus stop location, it’s pinned in the middle of a busy 4-way intersection. Like many others have said the map is pretty much useless because it doesn’t show real time/accurate information. You’ll get a notification that the bus is in the perimeter, only for the bus to be no where around. They claim to fix the issues but these issues are still current. This is stressful for parents because you have no way of knowing what to expect the bus whether it be pick up or drop off because the times/ delays aren’t accurate.

Doesn’t track the bus!
If I could give this app 0 stars, I would. As a dad, I just want to be able to look at the app and see where my kids’ bus is. That shouldn’t be complicated.

Map does not show accurate bus
Our school district switched over to this app and so far out of the 3 days, our kindergartener has been taking the bus we have been unable to see her afternoon bus coming home for 2 of those days. The map briefly shows us her bus for a split second and then bounces back across the city showing a completely different bus that is not hers. This is extremely frustrating, especially with having small children riding the bus who have to have an adult pick them up at the bus stop but we cannot find out exactly where the bus is. Please fix this as soon as possible. Thank you.

Dissatisfied
I do not know why CMS switched to this app this school year but it is horrible. I also don’t know who is at fault regarding the morning route still not showing on the app. This is the 2nd week of school and I have to leave work to take my daughter to school each morning which is unacceptable because I registered one month prior to school opening. During the afternoon, it is difficult to tell where the bus is located and I have to go in and out of the app for it to update. We downloaded it on my daughter’s phone and it keeps saying the password is incorrect.

Horrible
This app is useless. It doesn’t notify you when your child is being picked up or dropped off, it glitches when you try to see where the bus actually is and it’s never accurate. It has been a terrible experience using this app. I know it’s only the second week of school but it’s ridiculous. I want the old app back. You set a radius on it for when the bus is coming, it doesn’t do it in the app and the email is blanked out so you can’t request it there either. It’s frustrating trying to locate your child. I hate it.

Signs out every time
It looks like this will be the bus tracking app for the upcoming school year. I have had to sign in every time I’ve try buttered the app. This would be extremely annoying if it persists. Hopeful it will get fixed before I have to use it every day.
Edit 3 days in: The sign-in issue seems to be resolved, but actual tracking is beyond useless — bus jumping all over the place and never any notifications.
