Useless! Can’t export video!
I’ve had this for 2 years and I’m throwing it away. Full of errors and difficult to use. Finally needed it and it’s not possible to export videos. Saved the footage and clicked “export”. “You must grant access to photos”…no problem…except their app doesn’t have photo access as an option…seriously. NEVER trust a Japanese app.

Dash camera app is great if you turn cellular data and Bluetooth off on your cell phones first before trying to connect to WiFi to view camera.

I got it to work
I have a 2025 Toyota RAV4 with auto car play and I’m on an iPhone 16 Pro. If you turn off Bluetooth and then connect to the Alpine camera using WiFi like the instruction suggests, the camera will connect and this app will work. I have no idea why shutting off Bluetooth works, but it does. You do loose car play. Turn Bluetooth back on and you will disconnect from the dash cam. You may have to connect back to car play. It’s not great, but you can get to your settings and see all your recordings.

Find a different brand! Don’t buy Alpine!
I had the DVR-C320R installed 4 days ago in my brand new 4Runner. I spent hours trying to get this app to connect. And I’ve been a software engineer since 1989, so I’m very tech savvy. After getting nowhere, I decided to see what other people are saying and it’s all the same. The app does NOT work, and Alpine does NOT care. All too often, hardware manufacturers handle the software portion of their product as an afterthought, and clearly this is the case here. A smart executive understands that the software IS the interface to their product that provides the customer experience and bad software means bad experiences for customers. But the execs at Alpine aren’t bright enough to realize this I guess. Bottom line - DO NOT BUY AN ALPINE VIDEO CAMERA FOR YOUR VEHICLE!

The quality is good; the application is garbage
I also have a Rove R3 dash cam, and I just got the Alpine DVR-C320R.
Video quality are similar. Application, very different. The alpine application cannot stay connected to the dash cam.
The price difference: the Rove R3 is half the price of the Alpine C320R. I completely regret buying the alpine unit.
And apparently, i did not read the reviews before committing to buying the Alpine unit.

Not very handy
Apparently you must start car and go through steps to connect wifi to see any footage. What a headache! Should be able to just open app to see videos.
Pure GARBAGE now!
This system used to work fine for about 6 months and all of a sudden it won’t connect to my iPhone 13 pro. Did the uninstall and all that and still nothing. I contact support and his remedy was try connecting to another phone! Really??? The issue is why’d doesn’t THIS one work?? According to all these reviews I see it’s not only me and it’s an ALPINE app problem that they refuse to address.

Not sure what’s going on but this doesn’t work, never worked. Total disappointment.
Never works right
I’ve had for 2yrs. It’s worked right MAYBE twice. Never connects to my phone. Says connect to wifi, and will connect and kick me off. Updated app, updated phone…still garbage

This app is kinda useless, I got 2 iPhones 14 pro max
one is out of service and the other one is my personal phone , but the camera won’t connect to my personal phone and surprisingly it did connect to the other one I can’t be carrying 2 phones one specifically for the dash cam. And you can barely find the footage cuz they all disorganized and can even see what time it was I just shows the date. In my personal opinion for a dash cam that’s a little pricey, I think u guys can do better than this come on!

Doesn’t work
I had a hard time getting it connected to my iPhone 11 but it did connect every so often. It does not connect at all to the new iPhone 15. I deleted and redownloaded the app several times. I compared the settings on my iPhone 11 and now my 11 won’t connect. Alpine needs to fix the problem.
Does not work
The app does not work with my DVR-C320R connected to the Alpine ilx f511 radio. It does not recognize the Alpine Wi-Fi while the radio does automatically pick up Alpine Bluetooth to my iPhone. I think the app does not work if the camera is connected the alpine radio.

Not a good app/Alpine don't care
Obviously, Alpine Corp. doesn't really cares as long as they keep on selling merchandise otherwise they would've fixed this app already. I see many comments from different people complaining about the same thing nobody from Alpine is answering and nobody's fixing anything. Guess nobody cares.

Dash cam won’t connect with app. Tried it on an android phone and it worked perfectly
Doesn’t work
I thought the cameras were broken until I took the card out and put it in my computer. Unfortunately this app does not work, which is disappointing.
