The app and online portal are horrible. It won’t let you pay a mortgage payment and is super slow to respond. I travel and need to access my account easily and this is not it.

I use Altana FCU for my personal and business accounts and the app makes it so easy to transfer between them! Their customer service is top-notch as well!

My phone doesn’t work with this app. There’s no reason a simple banking app needs the latest phone to work. Please hire a more reasonable developer

Can no longer use app because of an older phone. So so horrible that I have to use the website now. Worst ever

I like the App, however, I do find it a bit annoying to now having to type in my password each time I want to transfer my son money.

Great banking app!
I have several banking apps due to different accounts and Altana is my favorite. They are great with fraud protection and communication. I like the set up of the homepage - it’s easy to navigate and see everything.
Forever customer
We moved from Billings years ago and many things have changed for us but one thing we won’t change is banking at Altana. Their customer service is just amazing and it’s so good to be treated as a friend when you call. Altana employees have gone above and beyond for us more than once and it is appreciated!

Convoluted balance display and mobile deposit doesn’t work
If you were looking for an app to help you keep track of your accounts, their balance display is will not help you do that (at least not with any accuracy). Don’t expect to come away having a confident understanding of what your balances are - especially if there are items being presented during the course of the day. Most of the time they are duplicated transactions showing as well (which will sometimes impact your available balance…according to the app).
Second, if you were wanting a mobile app to allow you to mobile deposit, good luck. This mobile deposit app doesn’t work 90% of the time, which means you get to get in your vehicle and go to one of two locations in town (and hope that they’re open during regular after office hours). And the staff won’t help you to get it resolved.
This last part is more reflective of the institution, and not the app.
God forbid you can’t get to the bank to go make your deposit (because the mobile deposit doesn’t work) and there are items that are coming out of your account soon. Altana FCU will make sure that they pay your items in a way that allows them to charge as many courtesy pay fees as possible. LOOK FOR A LOCAL BANK IN TOWN, RATHER THAN UTILIZING THIS INSTITUTION.

Finance mobile app
I like using the mobile app for my online banking but I wish it was usable on other mobile devices like electronic watches. I can’t always get to my phone but would like the balance when I order at a restaurant to use Apple Pay for example. I feel app needs more features.
New App.
I don’t think they should force their members to go along with this. We have banked there for 30 yrs.! I can’t afford, and this goes for a lot of people, to pay for a new device to handle this new app. I’ve never heard of this happening for any other app.! It’s unfair they are doing this! It’s forcing us to go to a different credit union or bank! It’s the little things that keep people happy! We are so unhappy and angry with this change! 😡
