1 year later and still won’t work!
I foolishly thought that this app would work despite the reviews that were written a year ago because, it’s been a year and it must be fixed by now, right? WRONG! Best Buy was selling the VersA speaker for 50% off and now I know why! It’s useless if you have a iPhone or iPad. I don’t know for sure, but I’m willing to bet that it doesn’t work with Apple products period. Shame on Best Buy for selling the piece of garbage VersA speaker and shame on The AppStore for offering an app that hasn’t worked for over a year!!

Bad app, bad product, bad company. Don't buy this garbage. It wont connect to wifi and i see I'm clearly not the only one having this issue. What a hot steaming pile of garbage.

I wish I had known so many things about the lack of interactivity that the Versa has based on the apps before I bought it. The product was just what I wanted, but I couldn’t get it to work due to the inability to connect it to WiFi and the lack of help and misinformation from customer service. I returned the speaker and will look for a new one.

Got this speaker at a steep discount from Best Buy. I got Bluetooth to work and it works well. It will not connect to WIFI so the Alexa feature is a non starter.
App won’t even open.

Bad product with bad customer service. I contacted customer service because of a problem connecting to wifi and they said an update should be available in 24 hours. It’s been over a day later and still no update

Returned the first speaker because it wouldn’t connect. The replacement doesn’t connect either. Called tech support and they say that the iPhone XS Max has a problem connecting. A fix should be out in a couple of days. Hope it’s true. Otherwise speaker sounds great on Bluetooth. If WiFi issue isn’t fixed back to the store it goes.

WiFi not connect
Won’t connect to WiFi - called their support 3 days ago and he said it is a known issue with iOS devices and a fix would be available within 48 hours. Still nothing so I’m returning. Bad product - bad support.
Won’t connect
Have tried on on a I pad and a android phone. Used 2 different WiFi at the 2.4 ghz rating. Would not connect. Called support no help. Worthless app. Ruined a Christmas gift.
Doesn’t do its Job
I’ve tried multiple ways, multiple networks at 2.4 ghz and always get the same “WiFi not Connect” message after following the instructions. A little more details would be helpful.

This is literally the worst app. Someone needs to fix it. I was trying to help my grandfather set up his device with an Alexa Dot for 2 hours and had to give up and he is very disappointed and that does not make me happy!
Useless app makes speaker useless
App doesn’t recognize that my iPhone or iPad is connected to my network so cant connect speaker. This is the only “smart” device in my home that has given me any problems connecting. Returning speaker and buying another UE Blast. I thought I would try the Altec to save some money but not worth anything if it doesn’t work.
