Do not buy their devices if you use Alexa
They removed the “Altec Smart” skill from the Alexa skill library. You cannot add their devices to your Alexa smart home anymore. Avoid.
Very buggy application
The device could be a lot better if the application was updated and the bugs were corrected. The cloud subscription for the camera does not work.
Couldn’t recommend these less
I was excited to find two new bulbs to use in my household. Unfortunately although the box says absolutely nothing about it, these are only compatible with 2.4ghz internet. The only place it says that is in the set up instructions inside the box. Very misleading and I’ve wasted money. Don’t buy!

We have used our camera to monitor our puppy from the time we brought him home from the breeder eight months ago. He sleeps in his crate in the walk out basement and our bedroom is on the second floor. Your camera has been a wonderful tool as it clearly shows us when he is uncomfortable or sleeping soundly without running down two flights of stairs! I highly recommend your camera to new puppy owners!!!

WiFi
It needs to be CLEARLY marked on the outside of the BOX that it only works with 2.4ghz WiFi, because it’s a little infuriating to get home with 5 bulbs (about $70), only to find when I read half way through the instructions that that’s a requirement. Worthless product. Thanks for the waste of my time.

Cameras work fine Until I switch Internet providers now I cannot get the cameras the hook up at all keep saying please use cell phone Jeanette Wi-Fi service is horrible can’t even get a hold of the customer service representatives
Save your money
I’ve had two of these cameras for 2 weeks and both are dead. I’m taking them back for a full refund. You get what you pay for I suppose.
