I have to use this application for work off of my own phone cause the company doesn’t provide a lan line of cell phones for their sales reps. This app is horrible not only is there no ring when you call someone most of the time, there is also an echo or time delay between you talking and them so communication is rough. If I could give it no stars I would.

Phone App
I have to say for having to work from home during this pandemic, this app has been extremely unsatisfactory and difficult to use. It freezes constantly, I always have to force stop and reinstall it or get out of it completely. It doesnt alllow me to transfer half of the time or put someone on hold. Its what I have to work with at the moment but its highly unfortunate and unacceptable for a business platform of any kind.

I use this when I’m on the road or need to work from home. Allows me to call internal extensions and make / receives calls as if I’m in the office. Great feature for me.
Laughably bad; complements MaxCS system perfectly
The app looks like an adolescent’s idea of a user interface. It was never a good design, not for any platform. It fits perfectly with our Altigen MaxCS phone system: it’s crappy and broken and hard to use. There’s no documentation on how to use it, and all interaction with Altigen is through a reseller, so Altigen has no incentive to help you or improve their product.

Updated 3 days ago. App crashes as soon as I open it. Every time. iPhone 4s. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Rebooting. Still crashing.

Trashed my app and no longer works
This update is complete trash for those with many contacts. It crashes every time opened! They knew this as I already had them fix this in the past. So I am really beginning to wonder what is going on with these developers. Really sad.

A great tool
Our entire sales team uses this with dedicated extensions, the local extension table is a great way for IT to push up to date listings of our internal extension changes.
For outcalls make sure to have IT configure your mobile access number.

The best business app
It is like I am in the office using my desk phone. Awesome.
Awesome Application
MaxMobile is the best business communications app for iPhone I've seen. It does require a connection to the AltiGen IP PBX, but once connected performs flawlessly.
Never worked
I dont know why this app received such high rating when it never worked on my fone. It didnt even boot up at all.
All I can say is WOW!!
I've been an avid iPhone user since the iPhone was released, and this is by far the best app I have used. It has completely changed how I stay in touch with HQ! I can easily tell my coworkers status, by looking at their presence. Let alone since I am an avid road warrior, now I can easily trace and record my calls through our corperate AltiGen PBX while traveling!!

AMAZING
My company has recently purchased an AltiGen phone system and this is an amazing app. I love that I can be out of the office traveling, etc. and still be connected to the phone system just like I would as if I was still there. Great feature!

I have had an altigen phone system for years and loved the fact that it was an evolutionary investment and not something I was forced to replace every few years, which I experienced over and over with my phone system purchases prior to altigen. Over 5 years ago altigen introduce a fantastic feature that allowed us to use our cell phones as true extensions on our altigen phone system. By the way, we only needed to do a no-cost upgrade to get the new feature. We could use the phones just like any office extension, including call recording and customer service teamwork and much more. And then, altigen just keeps on making things better. Though we never needed the software on our desktop computers that altigen provides to work with our phones, the software provided lots of information and controls that go beyond the desk phone and if we're not at our desks we could not enjoy this on our cell phones. Recently my company began transitioning users to iphones and as if altigen was reading my mind, they introduced maxmobile, an application that brings to the iphone the power of the altigen's desktop software we've been enjoying the rest of the time. This is huge, huge huge! And it is a huge reminder to us that altigen is continuously evolving their solution to meet our needs and is truly listening! Way to go altigen!

Excellent!
I can't believe no one else has offered something like this yet. The ability to access work voicemail, presence and line status of my co-workers when I'm out of the office is awesome.
Also, I can make and recieve calls through my corporate phone system, allowing me to hide my personal cell phone number. What a great way to protect my privacy!
