Fantastic IR Based Reverb
Standalone or as plugin. Only downside is that the UI is really small on iPhone.
Love it but it disappeared?
As of last week this app will not show up any more…. I can’t even find it…. I uninstall it and reinstalled it but still nothing…. Please fix.
Confused
Using Logic Pro for iPad it seems as though the app just doesn’t seem to work? Tried dropping it into audio and midi tracks as well as thru various sends and it just mutes the audio??
Bad color choice
this is hands down the badest color choice ive ever seen for a plugin.
on a iphone its almost not useable.
second, strange convolution engine where you can't change the ir lenght.
strange concept.

Logic pro send fx bug
Does not work in logic pro (ipad) as send effect via bus. Effect just mutes the output. I fixed this by toggling the project from 48k to 44k then back to 48k. Bug?? It worked as an insert fx right away @ 48khz but not as a send until I messed with the project sample rate in logic pro. I discovered this fix through the previous change log that detailed another 48k fix, related? Logic pro ipad defaults to 48khz projects.
Otherwise this is a great sounding plugin (but I don’t like the GUI !).

Just WOW!
IMO, the Holy Grail of reverbs… This app offers SO much at an unbelievable price! I’ve compared it to a handful of others and am blown away by this one! Just WOW! Thanks! (Note to Dev: I made my decision to look into this app after watching Doug Woods’ review from 2 hrs ago. -It takes me a while to watch all his reviews…😉😆) Keep up the great work! ✌🏻😎🎹🌴🌞

Sounds great
But the User Interface is not good
Great tweakable IR reverb. UI is teeny tiny on iPhone tho
If only the text was bigger on iPhone!
A world of spaces
This app’s presets emulate those of classic reverb devices from the late 70s onward rather than directly sampled identified locations (so far as I can tell). The developer’s site, however, links to free downloads of professionally sampled impulses from Britain and elsewhere. I loaded York Minster, a 10-second sample of this largest of medieval cathedrals created by firing a starter pistol. I found it necessary to smooth out the onset by importing the .wav file into audacity and deleting a few milliseconds of silence prior to the shot. The end result sounds amazing in AltiSpace. The parameters offered to nuance the effect are thoughtfully implemented.

First Class!
One of the best reverbs. Clear interface, many presets and first-class quality.
My all time favorite preset for vocal recordings is the preset Vocal Whispers. Legendary :)

The only money I’ve ever had to spend on reverb for iOS
This app has such an amazing algorithm that it isn’t just reverb. Of course, it’s “convolution” reverb, and the description given by the developer is as good as any.
Beyond that, this is the layman’s version:
This thing can take synth sounds and insert this “convolution” -into- them, almost as though it occupies your preexisting sound. This can be attenuated, so it’s not out of control. This alone is what makes AltiSpace a synthesizer in and of itself and why I think it deserves more recognition on iOS.
The recently added iOS optimization is a huge deal for how powerful this thing is. I’ve never experienced any kind of crashing with this thing, even though reverbs tend to have complex algorithms that lend to CPU hogging and therefore crashing.
I’ve only scratched the surface of what this thing can do. But the combination of SynthMaster 2 and AltiSpace alone can replace Jerry-rigging a bunch of apps together to try and achieve the same effect. It’s an FX machine just as much as it is a “space machine”.
Slap five stars on it 👍🏻

Good with an extremely frustrating interface
Everything works and it great to have my own IPs in there but there are issues
Imports randomly have checkmarks next to them , so if you move anything you have to check some imported impulses haven’t had randomly been selected.
No renaming , you have to literally copy the IP and save it in a different user group, so you end up with hundreds of user groups
I mean why can’t we rename saves ?
No way to export or backup , if you change device and wanna do a fresh install you are screwed.
I know this seems negative but the UI is just not logical and super clunky sorry.

Best convolution auv3
EXACTLY what I was looking for! It sounds amazing, is easy to use, comes with a ton of impulses, is very easy to load your own wav file impulse responses, and is light on CPU on my iPad Air 4. Browsing patches is also very organized. I HIGHLY recommend this. It’s super fun to use on drums or just about anything else. Can make reverb type sounds, delay type sounds, and even phaser or flanger, but can get weirder and more interesting than any of those plain effects alone. It also can add interesting reflections and some harmonics if used with the right IR files, try one captured from a metal can or a grain silo. :) There are also controls for shaping the sound that other convolvers don’t have. Combine this with a saturator and you can really get into some sound design fun. I’m using it for ambient, dark ambient, industrial, techno, industrial metal, horror soundtracks and experimental electronic, but it’s super useful for many genres. Check out convolution sound design, you can do a lot with your own impulse files, but this app is also really complete if you only use the built in impulses. Kudos to the developer. I’m really excited about the sound territory this auv3 gives me access to on iPad, and with great performance as well.

Incredible
Hands down the best reverb on iOS.
Fantastic update to a classic IR Reverb! 🦔
I’ve used Altiverb for a many years so I was delighted when it was taken to the next level with AU support, an upgraded GUI and lots of excellent new features! V2 is naturally wonderful and goes from strength to strength! You can create some really lush, rich vibrant (characterful) spaces that have a unique quality and high levels of tweak ability! Like all Igor’s software, it’s thoughtfully developed and feature rich with lots of depth and expression (and especially with the new midi controllers)! An excellent update, many thanks!

The app is great but can’t use it in AUM
For some reason when I try to use this app with AUM and tap on the icon when added, Altispace crashes with this message:
