Longterm options not available

Currently subscribing page offers a free lifetime subscription but will not validate the offer when I click on “Lifetime Pro Access for $0.00”. Instead, when I click on “continue” it kicks me over to Pay.Rev.Cat and gov we s me Euro price of €299.00.

Response from developer

Hi, The lifetime offer mentioned was part of a very limited-time promotional campaign and was only available during a specific launch window. After that period ended, standard pricing was restored. It appears you may have accessed the page after the promotion expired, which would explain the pricing difference you’re describing. We’re always happy to clarify any questions — please use the in-app contact option or reach out to us directly at contact@get-alva.com so we can look into your specific case. We appreciate your feedback and are happy to help.

SCAM!!!!

In the subscription area, it says life time is free. When you select lifetime it sends you to their website where they want to charge you a lot of money!!

Response from developer

Hi, We take claims like this very seriously. The lifetime access was part of a short-term launch promotion and was not intended as a permanent free offering. Once the promotional window closed, normal pricing applied. There was no fraudulent intent, and all pricing information is displayed transparently before any purchase is completed. If something appeared unclear, we would genuinely like to review it with you. Please contact us via the in-app support option or email contact@get-alva.com so we can assist directly. We’re committed to transparency and would appreciate the opportunity to resolve this properly.

Amazing

I have mild eczema and sensitive skin. The allergen insights are very useful and have helped me avoid a few products that might have caused irritation.

Well

I used to Google every ingredient separately. Now I just scan and get a full explanation in seconds. It feels empowering instead of overwhelming.

The best

The science-backed explanations are what I like most. It doesn’t label everything as “toxic,” it actually explains the context. Some advanced features are paid, but the base version is already solid.

Works well

Finally a product scanner app that actually explains what ingredients do. I use it mainly for cosmetics and cleaning products. The risk explanations are clear and not fear-mongering. Feels like something everyone should have installed.

The best

As someone who pays close attention to hormone health, ALVA has been really useful. It highlights potential endocrine disruptors and explains why certain ingredients could be problematic. I wish there were more scans included, but overall it’s a great tool.

Requires Too Much Personal Data

Deleted immediately. Just to get the app functional it was asking way too many personal information and personal metrics. Unnecessary information to use the app which means they probably sell your data. And then once the app was up it said I was out of scans and I’ve never used it before. It also advertise that it scans ingredient list and not just barcodes and that was false.
