Great system but needs two major fixes

I use this app to manage four Amaryllo cameras. I would invest in many more cameras because the cameras are great but the app has two major shortcomings. 1) When I try to connect to any of my cameras on the first try there is a fairly long handshake delay that always gets to 80% then fails with "Error 15". One the second try it gets to 100% and succeeds. This is really frustrating because it has to be a fairly easily fixable error. There are no bandwidth or latency or VPN or firewall issues in these situations but it always takes two tries to connect to any camera. The same house has about six Arlo cameras on the same network that have no such issues. 2) The alarm/alert feature on the cameras works great to activate an audible alert and light whenever motion is detected. However when an entire house is being monitored there should be ONE action on the app home screen to turn off ALL the alarms and alerts for all the cameras at the same house. The alerts should not be buried under multiple levels of menu settings for each camera - when I enter my monitored house i should be able to have the cameras continue to monitor but turn off all the blaring alerts with one easy button then turn them all back on with the same button on the home screen. This is another thing that the Arlo app does with one Arm/Disarm button for all the cameras with one button. If the app had these two features I would use it all the time and add more cameras, however i end up dealing with the blaring alarms from the Amaryllo cameras while i actively use the much easier Arlo app for interactive monitoring, which is a shame because the Amaryllo cameras are far more capable.

Update 18-APR-2023 Still looking for a way to arm/disarm a defined group of cameras into Privacy mode all at once. Every time I walk into the house I have to individually set each camera to Privacy mode to stop all the alarms blaring. This is not a unusual feature, and one that is available on other systems ( like my Arlo, for instance).

Notifiche in app memorizzate.

COMPLIMENTI!!!

Installation and/or changing networks is a struggle

Changed network provider. Have app working on iPhone. Unable to configure on iPad Air 4th generation. Once working, it is fairly stable, but any changes are a nightmare. And your YouTube videos do not complete the process. Example, admin QR code generated on iPhone. Unable to have iPad access the QR code.

I was an early adopter. These problems existed then, and still do so today, which is why I did not purchase additional products.

Now back to trying to get this to work.

Amaryllo Apollo camera is terrible

Either the Apollo camera, this app, or both are causing a repeated issue of not loading live camera view. The loading % gets stuck at 40%, and if not that, an error message when clicking on camera settings prevents me from rebooting the camera. I have this Apollo camera installed on the ceiling with the included mount. This is annoying to have to physically get a ladder, unplug, and power cycle this repeatedly.

Fast response from developers

Fast response from developers. This tells me they are proactive in fixing any issues and these cameras will be a long term investment. So I changed my review to full 5 stars as they truly deserve it.
The tech in these cameras are above all the others.

Any chance for fixing the issue yet?

Terrible!

Trying to connect to and configure the camera using this app is frustrating, to say the least. I recommend Nest or another company for home security - this app is absolute garbage.

Нельзя войти в настройки

После обновления приложения пишет ошибку 105 и войти даже в настройки нельзя!!

Doesn’t work push-notifications

After update to iOS 13.3.1, doesn’t work push-notifications on iPhone 8

Does not work correctly

After iOS 13.3 update. Push-notifications just stopped working on iphone 8. You can see notifications only after you open app. All at once. Does this app have something connected to safety? I guess not... Think of moving from amaryllo’s service to another one having serious support.

Battery killer

Would be good to fix the battery consumption. Drain my iPhone with no time now with background refresh and you ca r do anything to stop it (even not allowing background refresh doesn’t help)

App not Google verified for several months

App still says that it is not Google verified so I cannot get my camera to store video recordings on Google Cloud drive. I’m not interested in paying extra for storing on your cloud. Camera is basically useless now.

All buttons are not active

All buttons in programm are not working..
my camera is working, I can connect and I see picture in real time, I can moving 360’ camera, but no one of buttons “settings”, “account” and other - not working ....
But before, 5 months all are work. What is it?

App is generally okay

But last update caused issues on iOS 12.4.1
Error 100 constantly when using strong 4G signal on iPhone.
Issues seems to have gone since upgrading to iOS 13 then to 13.1

Maybe just an interoperability issue in preparation of iOS 13.

Started out great but terrible investment now

I bought 2 cameras through their kick starter campaign on indiegogo. At first, sounded like a great investment, and it did worked for some time... but then a year ago the camera started to act weird. I can’t view or access it through my T-Mobile service. I can ONLY view, access the camera via WiFi. This happened a year ago and it was fixed. BUT this week - out of nowhere - I can’t access my camera again through my phone unless I’m on WiFi. Seriously???! Again?!? Doesn’t it render this security camera useless while I’m on the go? Ugh. Feels like I now wasted $299 for a “half-cooked” idea.

Fast and informative

Setup of the cameras was relatively easy, especially given the multiple options for connecting them to WiFi. It was easy to train them to recognize familiar faces, and I was impressed with their responsiveness and quickness in spotting movement and people! I imagine the premium recognition options are equally good.
