Actions over Words

Amata has been a game changer for me in the dating scene. It allows you to form genuine connections and get to know people without the performative pressure. I love it

One of the best dating apps

Very useful if you are looking for real dates instead of endless texts. Also I like how the app takes care of the logistics as to when and where is best for the first date to take place

Selection were thin in my area.

I didn’t have many matches in my area, and one date. While it was a “pleasant” time, the interface was jenky and it tripped my fraud lock on all my cards and bank accounts

Very cool

First time using it and I’m intrigued at the possibilities. Instead of mindless swiping you can make meaningful matches whether it works out or not.

Waste of money

Bots run this app. It’s a waste of your time and money.

Best matchmaking event!

Loved the vibe! Met really handsome people
Definitely the party to be in NYC

Great way of meeting people

Great way of meeting people

Loved the party!!!

Amazing energy, I meet a lot of men and good friends! 10/10

Not intentional at all, not worth the time

Didn’t take into account my preferences of childfree .
Matches are not within commuting distance from me .

I don’t want kids, Amata

A waste of time when it can’t follow directions. All it can say is research shows that it doesn’t matter and keeps showing me people who want children. AI slop in app form.

Terrible! Scam.

Okay. So I matched with two women. 1. You cannot converse with them until 2 hours before your date. 2. The date doesn’t get scheduled until you pay $20 before hand. 3. Once you give them $20, then and only then can you pick your availability for this date. 4. You have to wait until the other person you matched picks their availability. If they don’t signing a few days; it gets canceled and you do NOT get refunded the $20. You keep the “date token”. 5. The women on this app appear to be real, but neither of them picked their availability in the time frame and I essentially lost $40. So no, this app is absolute terrible and a huge waste of time.

Needs some refinement

I think it is more efficient and the future of online dating for sure but because you cant talk to the person until the date or just 2 hours before it leads to cold feet and people cancelling. So itd be nice to have a required video or audio feature of the person you going to meet saying 'i look forward to meeting you'. That gives it a human touch, can see what they look and sound like beyond pics which are usually filtered, cropped or old. I also wish the ai would give me feedback on my profile and pics and why the people didnt pick me that i wanted to meet in a constructive way. I also wish ai didnt ask me questions again i already answered in previous convo with it. I also wish i could zoom in on user pics because some are far away and hard to tell what they look like. I also wish i could choose the venue or have more non alcohol places. Otherwise great concept that im sure other apps will implement.

Will never get off waitlist

I am autistic. I live in NYC I am 34 years old and I have never been in a relationship before and I don’t think I’ll ever be in one either because everything always works against me and because I’m autistic I always get perpetually rejected. Even the AI recognizes that that people have no chance. I got on the waitlist nearly 6 months ago and I’m still on the waitlist and I don’t think I will ever get off. I think I’m literally the only person that waited this long.

Blind date set up by a dumb a.i

This app is ridiculous. It’s a blind date app that you need to pay $20 dollars per date. Waste of money and time. This app is not good for gay people, we need to know if we are sexually compatible.

Great App!

Amata does the work for you. It finds individuals for you to connect with, based on your expressed interests and profile. If there is mutual interest, the date and venue is set up for you. It’s a convenient and creative concept!

10/10

Really enjoying Amata. The app is easy to use, the matches feel more intentional, and the conversations have been much better than what I’ve experienced on other dating apps. It’s refreshing to use a platform that focuses on meaningful connections. Highly recommend!

Not intentional daters

All four dates I’ve had scheduled got cancelled within 24hrs before it takes place. So frustrating. So much time wasted. These are not intentional daters.

Unsafe for women

There is no meaningful curation process, so you’re exposed to people you know nothing about and have no way to properly vet. Even more concerning, reports of unsafe situations appear to go nowhere, with little or no action taken. If your safety and time are important to you, it’s best to stay away. Most reviews are paid here. Don’t fall in the trap!

No matches, no dates

Had this for a week and didn’t get 1 match. Some of the men on here were using AI generated images which is so inappropriate and dangerous.
