Great Potential but lot to improve on
1). The AI will do things like “take into account my preferences” and continue to ignore them. For example, I told it twice to not show me people from a certain area and it repeatedly did so.
2). Making date reservations with my Resy account without my permission (even after stating I didn’t authorize it to use my account and telling it to stop doing that!). Booked a reservation that had a $50 cancellation policy and never bothered to tell me until it was too late and my date wanted to switch to a more casual location.
3). Customer support is quite lacking atm.
4). The text formatting bug is kind dumb and should be an easy fix. Where the QA team at?
I get that this app is designed to make dating efficient, but I cannot trust it if it will start doing sensitive things without my permission. I genuinely do like using the app otherwise, and hope they can improve on this. I would like to be able to come back and leave a better review!

Good idea bad execution
The promise to facilitate dates is nice but actually there are very few people on here and the AI is constantly lying to while asking you constant questions. I wanted to just meet people for dates but instead I’m texting a bot all day. Then when you setup a date people cancel the day before. Which is basically the same as any other app.

It’s so stupid AI
It is so stupid can’t understand your request. For example you wanna looking for an American, it still shows you other people who are not American even you told it many times, it still doing same thing! So stupid
Formatting is off
Some bug changed how the text is displayed and I see all the ** for bolding text without the formatting. Should be an easy fix, please take a look, annoying to read right now.

The app really works to set you up on legitimate dates. Trust in the process and it will pay off! I recommend highly for serious daters.
Nothing on here
This app didn’t even let me on the site been more then maybe 2 months haven’t even been able to date anyone or let alone be on the app trash waste of time

Great concept but poor execution
Wouldn’t refund me even when I contacted within 24 hours of a new billing cycle.
It’s really hard to figure out someone’s personality without any prompts or user level customization of a profile. Went on one date with someone I would’ve definitely avoided if I had seen on Hinge. Overall I like the idea of directly going to a date but they need a lot more work on what info they present on each person to identify a match and in general more quality people on the app

Great app, minor notes
Easier/ more painless in comparison to swipe-based apps. Some minor issues:
- It has recommended someone I’ve already met / said no to a few times
- Algorithm doesn’t always remember what I tell it
- If there was a way to wait a little longer before deciding yes/no on meeting someone that could be nice but I imagine in someways defeat the purpose.
I guess since it’s new the user base isn’t as big yet but with mote promo & time I imagine that will fix itself. Overall though, I’ve had only good experiences here.

Numerous times I told the ai only a certain type of guys. It’s like noted then it shows the type I said no to. I’ve said numerous times no Muslims they done see women as equals yet still shows Muslim men a lot
Finally an app that skips small talk
This is a great way to meet like-minded people who are looking to date intentionally.
Fun safe dates
This app is pretty cool and lets you plan dates for the future with people who are actually trying to date, unlike other sites where you don’t know exactly what you’re going to get. You have to pay for a subscription or pay per date, which can be a bit pricey, but it’s worth every penny and the back-and-forth with people who are actually trying to meet up.

I’ve really enjoyed using Amata so far. It’s a refreshing change from the usual swipe-based dating apps. I like that the AI takes the time to get to know you, suggests thoughtful matches, and actually gets you to a real date instead of endless messaging. Having the app coordinate the time and venue made the whole experience feel easy and intentional. My first date was genuinely enjoyable, and I’m looking forward to seeing where future matches lead. If you’re tired of traditional dating apps and want a more meaningful approach, I’d definitely recommend giving Amata a try.
