Good But Not For Me I Guess
This may just be a “me” problem, I’m not sure. I’ve been using Amata for over a year, and I really liked the concept of going through suggested profiles and deciding who I felt would be a good fit for me and who wouldn’t. And the AI matchmaker does a great job with recommendations. Unfortunately, despite using Amata for over a year, I never received a match or even a like. The people I expressed interest in never really went anywhere either. Maybe it was something about my profile, maybe people simply weren’t interested in me, or maybe the app just wasn’t the right fit for me. It’s kinda funny though, I’ve had great conversations with the AI matchmaker.
I decided to delete my account today because, after more than a year with no matches, I feel like I’ve reached the end of my experience with Amata. I appreciate the concept, but at this point, I think it’s fair to say that Amata just isn’t for me.

Great app with excellent interface and AI program
Amata is fantastic. The interface is very easy to use, the concept is great, it is more than reasonably priced and most importantly the quality of people I met are excellent. I highly recommend.
Not worth it. Good idea though
Don’t normally write reviews but this app worked fine at first. Until it collected a token (and my date cancelled ofcourse). It’s been a few months I’ve had this app and haven’t gotten a single match/date.

Terrible App
Not user friendly terrible use of AI. It is scam of money and does match you with any good people. The AI is terrible and difficult to navigate. Use any other app and you have to pay if you want to see someone. I would not recommend to anymore. I went out with people and never saw them again they and the location system is terrible I hope this app runs into the ground. I regret any money I have spent on it or the people I have matched with. The AI asked questions and do not even take into consideration. Just awful app overall. DO NOT DOWNLOAD YOU HAVE TO PAY!!!!

Initially good, then useless
Initially it gave a couple of dates. But then it stopped giving anyone to like, let alone a date

This Ai is not very intelligent. Even after providing clear preferences, the app keeps suggesting people that don’t at all fit the preferences. If you ever do match with someone, the date never comes to fruition.

This all stinks…. You only get mi amo options a day , no matter what you tell you is doesn’t even send you the preferred type of person you want , you can’t change photos in the order you want it to be in you have to delete one then upload it….. If someone doesn’t respond in time you completely lost them and even if you agree to do a date but something comes up and they need to cancel you completely lose that match and can’t ever make a new time to meet they get deleted , and you don’t even get to have a conversation until hours before the planned date that you set up. This is a bad app I’ve gotten 4 matches that we planned dates with my luck something came up had to Cancel either me or them and that’s it never match or talk to them again

Had potential
The personalized concierge AI concept is cool, but the AI itself is terrible. It does not adjust or listen to your preferences despite repeated instruction to do so. There are better dating apps out there, will be deleting this one
The ai is really dumb
The ai asks me questions I’ve answered frequently. It doesn’t seem to fix mistakes I point out. The ui on reading the other profiles is too much like prose that it’s annoying to read; it would be nice if they were bullet points. I would like to write my own bio bc the ai misrepresented the things that I told it…and also it took me asking 5 times before it showed me what my bio looked like

a total waste of time and money
The AI assistant completely ignores basic preferences, pulling from a clearly limited user pool to send matches that are the exact opposite of what you ask for in terms of religious beliefs, family plans, and appearance.
Even worse, the AI bluntly spills out your sensitive preferences to potential matches in a way that sounds offensive and could easily put you at risk of discrimination.
I only matched with one person on this app, and that was a match with a criminal history that resulted in the worst date of my life.
It's safe to say I've canceled my subscription.
Skip this app. It is a total waste of time and money.

Waste of time
The only difference between this and every other dating app is that you have to constantly interact with an annoying AI chat bot. The things you tell it have no impact on the potential matches you are shown. No reason to use this over any other app
I don’t know how these guys got funding
They say it’s ai powered. I say the experience is just like talking to a year 2010 chatbot, but worse because 1/ it suck your personal data (for which they don’t tell you transparently how they use it in their algorithm) and 2/ you have high expectations that the bot is intelligent, you just become more and more disillusioned as you chat with it, feed it with personal data about you and realise how idiotic the « agent » is. I got matched with many people who met my criteria of age and type of commitment (aka monogamous). lol. All that conversation and data input for… a two basic criteria match? You have got to be kidding me.
Meanwhile, in the same amount of time (5 days) I had already 124 hinge hit and started talking with 18 of these.
I don’t know how you got your investment guys but let me guess : from VCs who believe that dating is done with spreadsheets (and would love to use your app for it in this case)

Doesn’t Listen to my Preferences
The AI doesn’t listen at all to my preferences and keeps recommending hyper religious men to me despite me saying that is a dealbreaker. The AI says “I recommend those outside your preferences because you never know what may happen.” I will never be compatible with people that are outside my preferences. This app is a joke and I think I broke the bot because it now speaks to me like a caveman.

Low user base
Unfortunately this app doesn’t have many users, so they show a handful of possible matches and that’s it. Waste of time
Great Potential but lot to improve on
1). The AI will do things like “take into account my preferences” and continue to ignore them. For example, I told it twice to not show me people from a certain area and it repeatedly did so.
2). Making date reservations with my Resy account without my permission (even after stating I didn’t authorize it to use my account and telling it to stop doing that!). Booked a reservation that had a $50 cancellation policy and never bothered to tell me until it was too late and my date wanted to switch to a more casual location.
3). Customer support is quite lacking atm.
4). The text formatting bug is kind dumb and should be an easy fix. Where the QA team at?
I get that this app is designed to make dating efficient, but I cannot trust it if it will start doing sensitive things without my permission. I genuinely do like using the app otherwise, and hope they can improve on this. I would like to be able to come back and leave a better review!

Good idea bad execution
The promise to facilitate dates is nice but actually there are very few people on here and the AI is constantly lying to while asking you constant questions. I wanted to just meet people for dates but instead I’m texting a bot all day. Then when you setup a date people cancel the day before. Which is basically the same as any other app.

It’s so stupid AI
It is so stupid can’t understand your request. For example you wanna looking for an American, it still shows you other people who are not American even you told it many times, it still doing same thing! So stupid
Formatting is off
Some bug changed how the text is displayed and I see all the ** for bolding text without the formatting. Should be an easy fix, please take a look, annoying to read right now.

The app really works to set you up on legitimate dates. Trust in the process and it will pay off! I recommend highly for serious daters.
