I enjoy reading very much so and kindle allows me to not have to worry about leaving a book somewhere! I love the that I can open the app n have all the books in want and need at my finger tips! When I’m not reading a real book I have this app open on my phone or tablet or computer
Switched to Kindle Even though Im Older Generation Who in the 50’s grew up Books with Paper Pages!
Will never give up Hard Page Books! But Kindle my go favorite as long as there is internet! Because I can easily carry it everywhere & always have a number of new books to read without the cumbersome!

Kindle device/kindle app
The app and monthly cost is worth it if you like to read as much as I do. The device, is great for reading outdoors because of no glare, it really is like you’re looking at paper and obviously wind not blowing pages. But even brand new you’re not going to get weeks on your battery, again if you read as much as I do. It also freezes, it is not a reactive as a an iPad or even you phone. I also like that you can add an audiobook for a fraction of the cost of just buying one on my Apple Books app.

Terrible app
What kind of moron writes an app that simply states “Ibid” in footnotes that are viewable only as individual footnotes? In a physical book, this works because one looks above that footnote to see the original source. In an app it is a total joke - the footnote should state the source.
Also, moving eyes. Pages and finding that last place read remains ludicrously unreliable.

Amazon Kindle saved my sanity. After retiring, I was spending hundreds of dollars every month on ebooks & physical books. Now I can read as much as I want on Kindle for $12 a month! Seriously! $12 a month! No hype, no hidden fees. I LOVE KINDLE!!!

Still fell exactly the same about my Kindle App as the review below from years ago!!!! Thank you so so much Kindle for the cheap Kindle unlimited plan! I will never purchase a $12.99 paperback book again! So many books so so many GOOD books to choose from that I have a list of over 100 books to read. Use to be 500 books had to dwindle it down! The App allows me to send my Mom suggestions of good reads! I cant say enough about Kindle! Super awesome App also had the device back in early days and someone stole it :( I’d rather they took my teeth! I love Kindle so much! This month reads are All of the Anna Willett books. Awesome psycho thrillers I call them! Thanks for the only App I couldn’t live without! To be cont.

I wish the Kindle app had the ability to search subjects. Some subjects are easier than others. But even in the easier category, they miss a lot of books because I can put a subject in and it just cannot find the book that I know is under the subject that I have typed I in. But for the most part, it’s not a subject, friendly. You pretty much have to know your author and the name of the book or at least the author to search through in some cases, many novels to find the book you’re looking for. Otherwise, I’m happy with the Kindle app and it is very versatile if you do not have an actual Kindle. Sometimes getting your Kindle and your Kindle app to SYNC together is difficult, but hopefully that will smooth over after period of updates. Most of the time I have to make sure search through the book I’m reading and know what page and chapter I’m on and then open it in the Kindle app or vice versa in my Kindle. The transition was easier with my previous Kindle, but it unfortunately it was lost. So my husband bought a new Kindle for me. You would think they would SYNC the same but they do not. I’ve worked with it to try to get the two devices to SYNC better but so far I have not been successful. I have also given my husband a chance to see what he could do to get them to SYNC together better because he’s very technical minded and is over four local robotics teams. Both our sons and myself are technical minded also but my husband could not resolve the issue either. I do think the two Kindles devices are/were different. Currently, I always have to update my Kindle app to the cloud and then wait and open my Kindle and see if it will update from the cloud the page that I was on. Most of the time it does not even though there’s a SYNC button on the Kindle and it does not seem to work like my previous Kindle device. Both Kindles are/were the previous generation, but I believe the difference was the lost one was made to work at least in the US if not North America and the one I currently have is an International Kindle.

I personally love kindle and it’s such a good book app but my biggest problem is downloading, because whenever I try to download stuff it would download but the loading in my library is stuck at the same bar and won’t move for some reason. Overall great reading app and I recommend this for readers! 😄😁

Sort by Recent functionality in the Library Tab of the kindle App for iPad and iPhone isn’t working. I have used the App for many years and never have I ever experienced any issues with this feature before. The App redesign has made navigation quite cumbersome and annoying! Restore the Sort by Recent feature in the Library Tab to function as before!!
