Slow streaming
Pandora runs instantly regardless of whether I’m on WiFi or cellular. Amazon won’t even load half the time unless I’m on WiFi or a “perfect full bars” signal.

Love Amazon Prime Music. I have been a Prime member for years. I love the Prime books for free, free shipping and discovered the free Photo Cloud a few years ago. I am now covered with Apple iCloud but it is nice to know I have a second cloud backup of videos and photos in the Amazon Cloud. I have used Prime Music as my default ad-free music app now for a couple years and finally deleted Pandora and Spotify. It’s is annoying it asks every time if I want to pay more for Prime Unlimited, but have never seen the need to pay $12 a month because there is SO much music on Prime. If I want something not available on the basic Prime Music, I can always purchase an album or song for a reasonable fee.
It is so easy to make Playlists and Amazon makes amazing recommendations for similar songs and genres I listen to. I am always discovering new music that way.
I have created playlists for my workouts. I do videos on YouTube, but most of the music with them is lame so I create the playlists for the type of workouts, like yoga, strength and even have a cool down playlist. Instead of having to search to add to my playlists, Amazon makes recommendations and with a click of a button, it’s added.
Amazon I recently discovered puts together playlist of their own and if you like it you can save it to your library for the future.
No other music app comes close to Prime’s ad-free unless you pay extra.
I don’t know how I missed it, but discovered they now have Podcasts. I found podcasts that were on my wish list included that I would have had to pay for on Apple Podcast. Now all my listening is in one place! Apple Podcast got deleted along with Pandora and Spotify and I never liked iTunes in the first place.
I travel in the mountains and in no service areas. To be able to download what I want to listen to so I can stream in my car is amazing.if they add a library of Audiobooks, that would be my idea of Nirvana, just dive in if you are a Prime member and try Amazon Music. I think it’d now less than $15 a month and it was already worth it for Prime Shopping deals and two day shipping so Prime Music is the cherry on top.

Does not load at all, I used to love using this app. When I changed phones however the app refused to work at all.

Okay the recommendations are good and the variety of songs are great. But let me do what I want when I don’t pay. Like I get it I’ve “reached my weekly limit” or something but WHY DO I HAVE ONE? because I didn’t pay or whatever. Let me do what I want. And it’s not just this. It’s like almost everything else I want to do for free. “Listen on demand”? Why? Like it’s not that hard to let me do that for free. (REPLY TO MEEE)

In a pinch, they always come through
Repeating songs.
It repeats the same song in a row over and over. On My Soundtrack it gets stuck on a genre and doesn’t change. Always plays the same songs rarely plays anything that anything I’ve thumbs up. Very few options for something I’m paying for. I listen to other players that play commercials over this. If I could start over with it I would but I don’t see that option. Very poor selection and options. Disappointed.

Signed up for Amazon plus and and Prime plus and yet the promised to give for free is”NOT”being honored by Amazon plus and not getting what they promised shipping, discount and music ,movies ,podcast it continuously asked me to pay. Why is that?? Plus privacy protection? That’s a big joke. Do better Amazon.

The worst app I have used in my entire life, now corporate is trying to control what we listen to, almost impossible to find your downloads, extremely hard to navigate through the app as only options available is “proposed “ music! I don’t want to listen what you want me to listen to!

deleted over half of the songs on my playlists of multiple years, over five hours of music taken off my library and practically deleted from my downloads and playlists. Apparently this is a common problem and the customer service doesn’t do anything to help
