AmberApp has changed over the years, the team they have is incredible and it shows with their Bitcoin DCA app. It’s the best way by far to set up a recurring purchase so I’m always buying sats. Plus I use it all the time to make one off purchases also.
They’re constantly updating features and design to make the AmberApp feel great. No other app is this simple. Recently a Bitcoin Vault was added - this is great for friends and family who aren’t ready yet for self custody. And their concierge team will assist anyone to level up. Just superb.

Cannot withdraw my btc
It’s been 3 weeks and I am still unable to withdraw btc from ‘The vault’. After typing in my passphrase the keyboard stays on screen over the comfirm tab. Can’t click out. Very frustrating. Support is a bot.
Funds in your wallet are automatically sent to ‘the vault’ You have to opt out in writing everytime if you don’t want this to happen.
Amberapp then charge a monthly storage fees for the privilege. I’ve reinstalled this app everyday for the last 3 weeks to try and get my btc out. Still can’t.

Fantastic Stat Stacking App
I have always found Amber to be extremely streamlined, reliable and with prompt service via email. I have looked at other exchanges, but have always defaulted back to Amber due to their fantastic service and compatibility with many different banks.

The Amber team have created an excellent app for me to increase my bitcoin holdings.
I’ve been able to setup some simple automatic transfers from my bank account to the Amber wallet along with some recurring BTC buys to get more bitcoin for the long term using dollar cost averaging (DCA).
This app requires KYC.
One feature that would be great to have in a future release is the ability to apply labels or tags to transactions at the time of execution (or post execution even) to enable retrospective review/analysis.

Australians trying to get AUD into bitcoin and bitcoin back to AUD this is the best wallet for beginners.
Being new to bitcoin I downloaded 10-15 apps to try. This out was an easy choice.
Simple clean app you can pick up and figure out yourself unlike some others. Easy to get funds from BTC to AUD and into your bank through direct transfer. That was an issue with other apps who will take cash but almost impossible to go the other way, or they would charge (some up to $30 per transaction) for it. Amber app is free to put money back into your bank account.
On top of that the customer support is outstanding. They are patient, spending many emails with them before I put a cent into it explaining everything to a beginner in simple terms. They are polite, knowledgeable, and a very good response time. By far the best support of any of the bitcoin apps I downloaded.
So if you are new to bitcoin and want a simple app, that you can go into and out of your bank quickly and cleanly, without outrageous fees, with the best customer support, this is the app to use.
