What if my face changes due to surgery?
I’m copy and pasting this here: Hi, thanks for sharing your feedback, and for recommending ubank 🥰.
We understand wanting to feel completely comfortable and confident when accessing your banking, especially if you prefer not to use biometric sign‑in.
While ubank supports secure sign‑in using passkeys and biometrics, there are a few options available that may suit your preferences:
• Use a separate credential manager for passkeys
You can choose to store your ubank passkey in a third‑party credential manager (such as Bitwarden). This allows you to protect your ubank login with its own password, separate from your phone’s lock screen.
• Sign in using a password instead of a passkey
It’s also possible to set up a password to log in to the ubank app. While this option is available, we generally recommend passkeys from a security perspective, as passwords can be vulnerable to phishing and reuse across services.
• Strengthen your device lock settings
If you continue using passkeys, switching your device from a simple PIN to a longer password can add an extra layer of protection.
Your feedback around having more choice in sign‑in options has been shared with our teams. If you’d like help setting up any of the options above, we’re happy to help.
^^I believe we need to see at least MFA option for those who don’t want biometrics. MFA is annoying but if users opt in for it rather than are forced like with Microsoft and everything else then it might be a win
