Ambientry: TV Photo Frame

Ambientry turns your Apple TV into a picture frame for the photos already on your iPhone. Pick what you want on the big screen from your phone. It appears on the TV - full-bleed, drifting slowly, with a gentle transition between each one. Add more whenever you like and they show up. Change a setting on the phone and the TV updates while you watch. CURATE FROM YOUR POCKET • Pick individual photos, or bring in a whole album at once. • Group them into folders and play any folder on demand. • Queue photos to play next, or send one to the TV right now. • Reorder, remove and re-shuffle without getting up. BUILT AROUND YOUR PHOTOS • Faces stay in frame. Ambientry finds the subject of each photo on your device and crops around it, so a tight tile never cuts off the face you took the picture for. • Mosaic gives some photos more room than others, and puts each photo in a tile that suits its shape - portraits upright, panoramas wide. • Grid and mosaic fill the screen with several photos at once, each changing on its own schedule, so the wall never blinks all at once. • Six transitions: cut, crossfade, fade to black, push, slide up and zoom blend. • Ken Burns motion - subtle, strong, zoom in, zoom out, or off entirely. • An optional clock and date over your photos. • Set the dwell from three seconds to thirty. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your photos move through your own iCloud account, between your own devices. There is no Ambientry account, no server of ours in the middle, and nothing to sign up for. Both devices just need the same Apple Account. Nothing is analysed off your device. WHEN YOU WANT SOMETHING OTHER THAN PHOTOS Ambientry also includes a set of backdrops rendered live on the Apple TV, for the times you want the screen filled but not with your own pictures. WORTH KNOWING BEFORE YOU BUY Ambientry is an app you open on the Apple TV. tvOS does not allow any third-party app to replace the built-in screensaver, so this runs when you launch it.
