Love it but a few problems
I use this app a lot, the only reason I’m giving 4 stars and not 5 is because of the lack of security behind the 18+.. there needs to be a better way to do it because I’ve seen multiple and I mean a LOT of minors on this app and I do not feel comfortable with being friends with them. Have had 3 people talk to me on this app just to find out a day or 2 later that they’re underage, and me being stupid I automatically assume that “no one is going to just lie about their age to use an app” but I’m wrong about that. Some of them even put their age in their bio and it’s not 18 or older. I don’t know if you guys look at reports at all but I’ve had to report several that say they’re underage in their bio. I love this app but it could easily become a creep app for weirdos to find minors if they wanted to. It is just very uncomfortable sometimes when I would get a message from a person claiming to be underage in their bio. Overall amazing app and I love using it and there’s great people on here but that one thing makes it very sketchy sometimes. I just don’t want an app as creative as this turn into a creep app.

Awesome app small issue.
I love this platform so far. The people are cool and able to be themselves. My only gripe is in the posting mechanics. I could spend my time writing a long thought and feel good about it. Then decide you want to add a photo and then go back and your thought is completely gone. This just happened to me and now it’s just kinda gone. If yall could figure out a way to make sure it doesn’t delete in progress post just because you switch from mood to moment. Just make things kinda frustrating especially if you can’t remember everything you wrote for a post.

underage users
don’t get me wrong, i love this app, but there is so much to criticize. i love how unique it is compared to other social medias and how it’s not full of ads. however, ambys does not do anything about the amount of minors in the app when they pride themselves on being 18+. i, and many other users on the app, have reported way too many minors on the app, and their accounts are still up months later. they do not check their reports on the app! please make the app ID verified so that it makes sure that there are no minors on the app.

URGENT: Serious Moderation Issue
I downloaded this app and deleted it almost immediately. Within minutes, the first post I saw was openly hateful against men, and the second was completely disturbing.
A user made multiple posts making sexual comments about a child and sharing her photo publicly. This is an 18+ platform, which makes this even more alarming. This kind of content should never be allowed anywhere.
There needs to be immediate action. Please report this individual to the proper authorities and permanently ban him from the platform. If you require phone numbers or Apple IDs to sign up, you have the means to identify him.
I took screenshots of his profile with his username and the posts he made. I’ll be happy to share them if necessary.
Update: I’ve been checking in for a response. I’m glad the situation was handled!
