Incompatible with Amcrest View Pro
I have several Amcrest PoE cameras set up around my house and I've been using their Amcrest View Pro software for about two years now. When I saw the abysmal reviews of the Pro 2 version I immediately moved on to this app. Much to my dismay, there's no way to import any information, including my username and password. After creating a new account, I tried to add a camera but the dropdown list didn't have any of the cameras I have (which are still in production) and, it doesn't have the ability to allow anything but what's already in the list.
While I like the performance of their cameras, their software has always seemed like an afterthought to them. I also noticed that they've increased their prices on Amazon. Dear Amcrest, if you want to develop brand loyalty, you must have quality hardware and complementary software. If you can't offer that then your customers will find another brand that already knows this basic knowledge.
Please do better!
