I used to enjoy this news outlet, but they have not had a single new story in a month so I’m wondering what gives

It was good when they updated it. It has not not been updated with any new news for about a month now. I am going to be deleting it soon.

They show u great review - from 11 years ago! It’s not great now. Flooded with ads. Slow to update stories. Lots of “click bait” titles. Clearly very little effort spent making this any good or relevant.
Update your app already.
Besides way too many adds, your notifications don’t open to the stories you want to share. It just goes to the home page.

Your app is so overloaded with ads that it prevents you from reading sections of every article. Been dealing with this for months if not longer, about time you finally fix it.
Now you’ve added full minute plus ads! What gives? Don’t download! Waste of space on your phone, not worth the limited stories they publish.

Misleading Notifications
this is an example but it happens a lot. Just saw a notification that read, “Plot to kill Trump!” Like it was a Breaking News. When I opened the notification it lead to nothing but the home page. I refreshed the page and still no similar headline appearing. I searched for the Headline and the only thing I saw closely related was “Suspect in plot to kill Trump says MDC Brooklyn jail denying him warm clothes, food seasoning!” …….which was 5 days ago……This happens so much and I’m sure they do this on purpose to keep their app active with misleading flashy headlines to quickly draw the attention of the user only to lead to nothing.

Does not always work
I love the news topics. However, I’ll get an alert to a story, click on it but that story NEVER OPENS UP! The app opens to the home page - even if I search for the article, I can’t find it. Wish they’d fix this.
Great…. BUT
I gave 3 stars. I love this app, it’s actually news that matters. No fluff, legit news. However…. ads…. really? Maybe I missed something but I looked at the app pretty closely and didn’t see anything about adds or something that gives you option to pay to have them removed, or anything on the download screen that says you will have to watch ads. It’s Gross, get rid of it.

It’s pretty good
They cover a lot of stories you would never see. Things like an under water tunnel to the Taposiris Magna Temple being discovered or a 2700 year old biblical artifact being found. On more mainstream news, they’re usually 3-7 days behind everyone else. A few have been a year or more late. The ads are getting insanely annoying. Some days you see an ad between each article. Some days you see them multiple times in the same article. Now the in article ads are blocking the text

Waste of cell phone data
I get many notices on my iPhone daily for articles in the app byt, with the majority of tge notices, there is no article that comes up. This is the second time I have tried it. No more!!!

On the same note, they send notifications of news events days after they actually happened. For example: “Urgent: James Bond star dead at 80”. For one, this is not urgent. For two, this happened a good 4 days ago

Articles are not available for reading after receiving notice of it being sent
Almost as often as when I can open an article and read it, I will click on the notice of a new article and there is no article. Just today, I received a notice and, within seconds, I clicked on the notice and the article wasn’t there. I have reported this once before re but they wanted me to pay for them to research the problem. It is nit my phone as my husband is having the same problem!

Crashes
This app hardly ever works right, I wish it did because I like the app, but I got tired of it closing or the head line will say one thing and you click on it and it pulls up different articles.
Very poor app
When I first downloaded this app, I was able to open articles and read them. Now, most of the time I open an article and there is nothing there. I have even deleted the app and downloaded the app. Still mostly no article information, only notifications. I chatted with someone to tell the company there is a problem. After giving them the information they asked, they wanted me to pay $1 for an ‘expert’ to research and fix the problem😡 If they want people to read their articles, they should try to fix the problem without charging the customer to do it! I’m just going to delete this app!!!

I cannot open the majority of notifications received
I receive numerous notifications of new articles each day. The majority of those articles are blank when I open them. I just got another notification and attempted to open it…again, there was a blank screen. Sometimes I get an ad, but no article. If this continues, I am going to delete the app!
Ads
I just downloaded this app and am bombarded with ads. You go to read an article and temu pops up and you have to wait to remove the app. Also, the name of the app, American Military News, is not what this app represents. Where do political adds fit in, like what former presidents have to say and others. Removing the app. I am a retired military NCO and am disappointed.
