I do all my banking since retirement 20 years ago via the app or on the phone. The staff, though they have all turned over and none know personally, have always been polite and helpful and resolved any issue quickly and professionally.
1/2 Account viewing
Cannot access the checking account to see balance, I have called American Lake to make them aware of this and they are confused as to why this is. I don’t even get messages or calls when a fraud happens. Would’ve been nice to see the checking account to know my total balances.

I always get great service when I go to the branch. Staff are friendly, attentive and helpful.

My family has been with this bank since 1985, love that I can use the app and not go to the bank at all. Great app!!!

Lakewood branch
I am disappointed in the staff at the Lakewood branch and offended when they wouldn’t help me at 5:01pm make a deposit or figure out how to use the night drop box. The 2 ladies working that evening treated me like I was a transit trying to cash fake money or something, that is when they would even acknowledge I was there. Knowing this credit union has earlier hours than most and I was in the drive through at 5pm (in which I was ignored & that’s why I had to knock on the door) I feel they could have helped by taking my deposit or assisted and showed me how. No one should ever feel disrespected or belittled & I felt both these emotions plus anger, amongst others. Sad because up until about 6 months ago I loved banking here 🥲

Need to have mobile deposit and Notifications
Mobile Deposit is urgently needed. The app must also have a notification system for say large withdrawals and direct deposits.
