The website version is great. The app feels like an abandoned experiment. They should either place more focus on the app or make the web version work on mobile screens better.

App has gone from bad to worse
I am giving this a star because you cannot give it zero. This has always been a lack luster companion to the web browser online version. I like Amicus Cloud and it has improved my firm’s productivity. However this app has always had a very limited functionality. In the past I have had issues with the application syncing with my account. There was always a lag with “sync pending” or it would go several days between syncing. Now it just does not sync at all. I tried to delete and reinstall as support recommended before. That didn’t work. Now it just takes up space on my phone. The developer has not updated the app in several years where the online service is updated several times per year. They really need to put some people on updating and upgrading this app.

Worthless
Completely worthless app. Never syncs - it can’t literally sync upward from phone to online portal. And the info is so limited you are better off accessing info on your phone from Dropbox and outlook
Does not work (deserves No star)
It does not work and the company does not seem to care. I got this software because it boasts about an app that allows you to capture notes and time on the go. When it did work, it was limited. But now the APP just crashes.

Thank your for your feedback. This application allows you to enter time on the fly either as a manual entry or by using our timer. Additionally, you can create time from one of your existing records.
Does not work
I have an iPhone XS running IOS 12.4. This app used to work, sort of, but stopped working right around the time IOS 12 came out. When you try to launch it, it immediately crashes. All I hear from Amicus/Abacus Law is crickets, although they continue to tout it as functional.

I could not give it zero stars or I would have. We were promised this app in Q2 of 2017. It finally rolled out in 2018 and worked for a bit, but it was disappointing because most important tasks cannot be performed. Now it doesn’t not work at all with iOS 11.4. The company is not being forthcoming about when it will work. Very disappointing.

Why even bother?
Be warned: trying this app will only cost you more time and money in the long run than whatever system you’re currently using. I was so excited about this app. “Finally, a way to input my time entries on the go!” I thought. Well, NOPE. As the previous reviewer notes, the sync feature is totally screwy. Some of my entries showed up about 30 mins later, whereas other entries only showed up two weeks later—after that month had already closed. And after I had tried to recreate all those missing entries from my memory.
Why even bother to roll out an app if it doesn’t work? Perhaps it made for a nice press release and marketing materials to say that they now have a mobile app. But I’ve totally lost confidence in Amicus due to this experience.

Absolutely Terrible
This app is so horrible. Aside from not giving you access to any important file details, the syncing capability is atrocious. I have, many times, input a time entry, only to have it never actually sync up to the app. Because it has been so hit and miss, I often have to jot down the time entry somewhere else so I can double check it when I get back to the office to ensure it synced up with the cloud.
I have run multiple tests to see how long syncing takes. Even though I have the app set to sync every minute, it often will take 30 minutes or more for the information to actually show up on my computer (website) after inputting a time entry.
I have totally given up on using this app and instead use the old amicustimetracker website for on-the-go time entries. Pretty sad.

Horrible!
It’s hard to believe they actually tout this app claiming it “gives you all the great solutions of this award-winning case management software in the palm of your hand.”
That’s a balled-face lie! You don’t have access to your documents, calendar, email, or virtually any other feature of the software.
The only thing this app is good for is jotting down time entries for phone calls, for only one of the client’s phone numbers. If you try them at the office and want to call them on their cell, hope you already know the number because otherwise you’re out of luck. Heaven forbid you need your client’s address on the go, because you certainly can’t access their address through this worthless app.
On an iPhone or iPad the app only sends email from the internal email. If you run Microsoft Exchange and use Outlook, a key feature of Amicus Attorney, then you can’t even send an email through the app.
This is truly pathetic! Clearly Abicus is not interested in making a relevant app, only advertising it as a key feature of their SAS; it’s only been updated once since the launch.
