Love it until I didn’t

Loved it until it updated. The advice and suggestions didn’t align with previous responses. What happened?? I had to unsubscribe and figure that I’m doing a great job on my own navigating through this and don’t need the app anymore.

Really sooooo basic

Basic and 6.99 ok now!!

Incredibly Eye-Opening!

Amori’s app gave me so much clarity about my dating patterns and attachment style. The insights felt super personal and actually made me rethink how I approach relationships. It’s not just generic advice—it really helps you understand yourself and what you need. Honestly, such a great tool for anyone who wants to date smarter. Highly recommend!

SORT IT OUT!!

The app was working when i first downloaded it, now it’s not working gives a error message every time.

Analysis only showing last page

No way to back. The summary is not helpful.

Got married from Amori

Best app to meet serious pple

Good Concept, Terrible Execution

The idea makes sense. But the app is so money hungry it gets in the way. I don’t have a problem on any other dating apps. But on Amori I haven’t gotten a single match and their are very few options to choose from.

Reviews have to be fake

I’ll update if I ever get on the app. I don’t have 2 friends to sign up for dating apps as I just moved to a new city on my own and other friends are already married. I’m not spending $60+ on an app without even getting to see what it’s about. I’ve messaged them on instagram to see about how to get off the weight list as I’ve been “1961” in line for 4 days now. No response. According to their instagram I’m not the only one having issues. I understand they watch for fake accounts, but there are other apps that do verification to prevent that. Their process isn’t working and is deterring people from signing up. Plenty of other apps to use.

An original take on dating apps

I love using this app! It’s a very original take on the boring apps. Would highly recommend!

Ian. Ew her and I’m going to try it out to see if I like it! Sounds like a good concept!

Let’s see if it really does work!

Like Concept BUT Matches are EVERYWHERE

I honestly liked the app and concept EXCEPT that when I put where I live I thought the app will match people within my area. There is no ratios you can select, the app only ask where you live. I live in LA and I thought the app would suggest other people in LA( my requirement are basis nothing picky). THREE times my matches where everywhere; Bay Area, Mexico, & Midwest. Like whattt?!? Fix this

Amori Rating

Tbh the app isn’t the best. You only get to vote on 6 profiles a day and there is a waiting list that takes almost a week for them to take you off of. You can’t use the app until your off the waitlist. It doesn’t even show you if the people your voting off of is near you.

Better than swiping!

Great for getting to know someone, not superficial like the other dating apps. Highly recommend!

Horrible App

I’ve tried all the dating apps. Tinder, Grindr, Hinge, Bumble, Tami, you name it. At least with those apps I actually get matches. You only get six top picks per day, and if you run out and have to change your preferences, they make you wait another day to get any. Horrible dating app, not worth the “experience” they provide, because you’re not going to get a match. You might as well redownload Tinder and deal with the guys on there.

Scam app

Is pretty much just a app that has no real use as you get through the ppl in your area in 1 day and the app claims to be 50-50 but I can tell you the app is filled to the rim with bots

Good Diversity Within The Landscape

Brings something new to try! Good opportunities for community building.

This app is actually voice forward

This app is actually unique and I recommend checking it out!

Pushy Much

Even before I had signed on I was already being asked to rate? And I don’t have an Instagram so I had nothing to add in that regard and they ask me “Are you sure you don’t have an Instagram?” Really?! Rather confrontational don’t you think? Gonna reach out and instagrab me?.

And then they decide to push you on your job and school answers. Then I have to pay or refer friends to not get on the waitlist? Ah yi yi!!

Is this app real? Plus all those five star ratings look so scripted. Like they sound contrived. I’ll wait to see if I ever get off this waiting list. I won’t hold my breath. Ha

Response from developer

Hi there! We have a pretty thorough onboarding process on Amori to ensure a very high quality community of real users. This is to improve the user experience, and to prevent fake profiles, bots, etc. You don't have to have an Instagram to sign up, but it helps our review process and helps you get off our waitlist sooner. We do not share your Instagram, last name, or email with anyone. And our 5 star reviews are from real users who love the app :)

$70 A YEAR + NO OTHER OPTION = SCAM

Asked a few other people to test this out and of course the app consistently says you’re wait list number is 2,542 and that you can skip the line any time by paying for premium. Or you can refer two friends and skip the line… but there’s a good chance you’ll get out back on the wait list if your picture isn’t good enough or there aren’t enough people in your area… but wait, it gets better… in their privacy policy they use ‘their service’ broadly, they also state they use the best commercial security, but it’s the internet, nothing is 100% certain, I mean secure. What has me even more convinced it’s a scam is the fact that when you go to recommend two more people and leave the app, it makes you start all over and gives you a new referral code… so keep referring your friends and give some girl from Stanford your personal information so she can sell it to ‘third party companies and contractors’ that run their services and she can enjoy nice vacations while still in college. Ahh how the American Dream has changed.

If zero out of five stars was an option I would’ve selected that. Should’ve given it 5 stars because thanks to the developers, most people won’t see this unless they search for it, like I did and found someone from February of last year claiming the wait list was annoying and that even after getting past it, there were no matches to be made after weeks of use… imagine spending $70 on an app that claims it works, or at least boasts testimonials of people who use ‘their services’… seems like deception to turn a profit… aka scam.
