Just really sad
I used This app for maybe 10 years. Loved it at first. Now it’s not had an update in about four years and it’s not working worth a piss. That really sucks, it’s been my go to for year and writing your own music it’s a portable studio. But now the sound quality sucks, the overall workings anymore is a mess. Sad. Wish I could have it back the way it was when I first started working with it. Amazing recordings with it.

It works, but...
...I used to love this app. I purchased several add-ons over a decade ago, and it remembers my presets from back then, but those presets use premium add-ons that it seemingly forgot I purchased and gives no option to restore them without buying them again. What a shame.

I bought the app and amps years ago, and liked it but jamming on my phone wasn’t for me so much. I deleted the app and didn’t think about it too much. Fast forward Ijust decided to put it back on my phone, but there is no option to restore previous purchases. I went to the developers website and when you try to ask a question you get a page down’t exists message. That is ridiculous.

Great at One Time
This was one of the first guitar apps I bought many years ago. It may have been the first version. Back then it sounded awesome. It still does in standalone mode when it works. However, it’s 2025 and the developers have not kept this app up to date with current technology. It’s still IAA and doesn’t work in most DAW’s like Cubasis and GarageBand. You can insert it into a track but all you hear is a direct clean signal and yes I’ve checked all the settings like run in the background. In standalone mode I have to navigate to one of the included backing tracks and play it first before I can hear the amp. I’m using an iPhone running iOS 18, so that’s probably part of the problem. But only a part because the developers have let themselves go along with this app. Update your app and it will be back to being a top contender. Get in the game Agile Partners. Oh, and their tech support is non-existent. If you’ve got a newer phone running the latest iOS and want to record with this app, you can forget it. Go download the free version of Overloud THU. It works flawlessly all the way around, sounds great and tech support answers emails. Most amp and effects costs are 4.99. Agile Partners, please resurrect yourselves and get this app up from the ashes. Come out with a version that will blow the competition away. I know you can do it.

Don’t buy this app
Like lots of others I spent a lot of money on this app only to find it has no Restore Purchases function. This is despite their website saying it has. Rip off. Do not buy as you will use what you have paid for through upgrades.
Stopped working after years
Worked great for a long time. I bought the whole bundle for $50 and was very happy with it. Then all-the-sudden it stopped working properly recently. Everything on the app works and I get signal but the sound is just not coming out. I’ve tried everything. Agile is completely unresponsive.
Worked Briefly on iPad
Then it stopped, then it sort of worked with almost no volume. I think a lack of updates has killed this app as iPad OS has changed the foundation.

They have deleted the restore purchases on the app. So if you have more than one device you have to buy it again and again even for the same account.

I’ve been a happy user of this app for years. Finally updated my phone and Lo and behold there is NO option to restore my purchases (I paid to unlock all amps and effects).
The irony is that in their website they show a “Restore Purchases” button that does not exist in the current version of the app. These crooks even have the temerity to claim “We don’t believe you should ever have to pay twice for the same piece of equipment, and with AmpKit, you never have to!”

Once upon a time, it was great
I used this app years ago. It was great. Haven’t touched it in four or five years. Decided to mess with it again. I owned every amp and pedal. But there’s no way to restore purchases. I’ve already purchased everything but in order to use it, I have to purchase it all again. Guess I won’t be using this after all. That’s too bad. I really liked it.

I can’t recover my purchase
My purchase will not automatically update on my new iPhone 13. I had purchased the bundle on August 9, 2021 and now the only way I could play as if I re-purchase it. Any suggestions I’m at a loss. I tried all the normal stuff through Apple, but I cannot contact this developer.
No way to restore purchases
I have purchased this entire catalog for $50 and never do I get an option restore purchases. The faq is so out of date. Fix the app.
Sounds great, can’t restore purchases on my new phone
Went through process to try and restore purchases to my new phone…no button, no way to resolve. Garbage app…steal your money and leave you if you upgrade
Was the best amp sim for recording.
This app had real ability to add believable high-gain crunch to a direct signal. Now there is no way to restore purchases and the app is useless after a hardware update and the dev website support page no longer functions. Kind of a ripoff now.
Now it’s terrible
It used to be great, you could import songs from Apple Music and jam/learn with them. It won’t import songs anymore and is therefore useless.

Awesome app. Payed for everything, go to put it on new phone because my old one broke and... nope, not an option. Absolute trash, regret it.
