Ok, but nothing special

Sigh. I like the idea of getting most of my saturation and eq done by one app with robust controls and a minimal but very functional interface. Like finding the perfect amp before the age of sims. I have bought a lot of Nembrini amps hoping to find just such a unicorn. This is in that same mould. Of the five or six Nembrini amps I own, I’d put this one in the middle of the pack - I prefer Nembrini’s Jazz Chorus and Double Reverb to this one, but I like this one better than Bg Extasy or the abysmal Divided 11 (the gain of which is impossible to control). Ample Juice is a competent amp sim - the gain controls can go from clean to destroyed with gradations between (I’m a clean to light crunch guy). Some may really like its “character” section - I found it jumped too quickly to distortion and fuzz. But ultimately, in the age of NAM A2 apps, I don’t think this one does enough to stand out. I like some of this dev’s other apps, but this one missed the mark for me. The search goes on.

Awesome amp simulator!

This is great value for an amp rig package! It sounds fantastic and I love that I can position the microphone with using touch. You did a great job with the built-in tuner as well. Kudos!
