Mixed feelings
Overall I really like this app, especially because seeing and hearing about others’ participation helps me feel like part of a bigger group, and that we are actually making a difference.
The only thing I would change, and it is a big one, is to allow more than one Action per week. Personally, I only request 10 postcards at a time, so I know I can get them out quickly, but once they’re mailed I then request another 10, and they’re not always for the same campaign. I have mailed out 40 postcards so far, but I was only allowed to post once, so it looks like I’ve only mailed 10.
I would rather be able to show EACH individual action taken. I think that we would see much more participation and encouragement that way.

Encouragement
This app lends great reinforcement for Postcards to Voters. Kudos to the folks in the San Francisco branch of Indivisible for creating it. The reason I gave four stars rather than five is because I think it should be easier or more self-explanatory how to start a topic or comment thread. The system seems based on responding rather than initiating.
After using Amplify for a while longer, I’ve realised that the primary shortcoming of the app is that it rewards or recognises a user the first time they take part in an action, but never again. So if a participant in Postcards to Voters writes dozens of cards on behalf of one candidate over a two or three week period, he or she only gets acknowledgement - a little flame emoji to show how long she’s been active - for the first week. That’s a little disheartening.

Ok app but room for improvement
This app is for people who are a part of "postcards to voters", a grassroots effort to turn out voters in support of progressive candidates for all kinds of offices.
The app is a good place to go to find out about new postcard writing campaigns or to get positive feedback for joining a new campaign.
It's frustrating that it won't let you just make a post, you can only respond to a "new action" post. It also doesn't allow you to go back and edit one of your posts if you want to add to it or make a correction.
Some changes like that would make it much more interactive and something that I might go in and check on a regular basis, but now I only go to it if there's a notification pending.
I think the app could be used to encourage more of a community among postcard writers, but I understand if that's not the main goal of P2V.

Best Social Justice App
I rarely leave reviews but had to take the time to write my appreciation for this app. Voting is not enough to keep representatives accountable. This app makes contacting them about the issues I care about simple. I love that I can now see which actions I’ve already taken. Thank you, Amplify, keep up the good work!
