Mixed feelings
Overall I really like this app, especially because seeing and hearing about others’ participation helps me feel like part of a bigger group, and that we are actually making a difference.
The only thing I would change, and it is a big one, is to allow more than one Action per week. Personally, I only request 10 postcards at a time, so I know I can get them out quickly, but once they’re mailed I then request another 10, and they’re not always for the same campaign. I have mailed out 40 postcards so far, but I was only allowed to post once, so it looks like I’ve only mailed 10.
I would rather be able to show EACH individual action taken. I think that we would see much more participation and encouragement that way.

Encouragement
This app lends great reinforcement for Postcards to Voters. Kudos to the folks in the San Francisco branch of Indivisible for creating it. The reason I gave four stars rather than five is because I think it should be easier or more self-explanatory how to start a topic or comment thread. The system seems based on responding rather than initiating.

Ok app but room for improvement
This app is for people who are a part of "postcards to voters", a grassroots effort to turn out voters in support of progressive candidates for all kinds of offices.
The app is a good place to go to find out about new postcard writing campaigns or to get positive feedback for joining a new campaign.
It's frustrating that it won't let you just make a post, you can only respond to a "new action" post. It also doesn't allow you to go back and edit one of your posts if you want to add to it or make a correction.
Some changes like that would make it much more interactive and something that I might go in and check on a regular basis, but now I only go to it if there's a notification pending.

It’s a frustrating time in America- and with Amplify, you can put your frustration to work toward positive change. This app is well-made and easy to use. Connecting with Postcards to Voters makes me feel empowered and useful.
Best Social Justice App
I rarely leave reviews but had to take the time to write my appreciation for this app. Voting is not enough to keep representatives accountable. This app makes contacting them about the issues I care about simple. I love that I can now see which actions I’ve already taken. Thank you, Amplify, keep up the good work!

Amplify for Postcards to Voters
I’ve only used Amplify for Postcards to Voters, so my review will only encompass this. This is an intuitive app, and it didn’t take long before I was using it. I like that I can keep track of my actions, that there are always many to choose from, and that I can like the actions of others as well as welcome them to the group. I’m so glad we can add pictures now! Thank you for that. There is only thing I really feel is missing that would make the experience much better. There are some actions that go on for weeks, but you only get credit for taking an action on it once. For example, if I finish writing postcards for one campaign, I go in and complete that event. Then I go to get more addresses to start writing another batch of postcards again and the only option is for the same campaign. So I write those cards for that same campaign. When I go to Amplify I can’t get “credit” for writing more for this campaign. There have been several campaigns that I wrote for many times over, but on Amplify I couldn’t click anything for it so it looked like I was doing nothing. I’ve been writing almost continually this year but you can’t tell that from my “week streak” because of this. If there could be some way to make it so I can click more than one time that I’ve written postcards for a campaign, this app would be fabulous. Thank you!

Easy and Encouraging
I like this App because it makes my activism efforts easy and I get to give and review encouragement to and from others. It doesn’t bombard me with notifications and is simple and way to use. For anyone looking for an easy way to keep up with small activism tasks, this App is helpful.
Helps me feel connected
This app has become a safe space for me. None of my FB friends or Twitter followers have been openly disrespectful of what we’re doing, but on particularly depressing news days, I occasionally feel like I somehow should or could do more. Intellectually, I know that’s nonsense, but sometimes I need to hear it from others who have chosen a similar route for their activism. Knowing that fellow postcard writers are sincere in their expressions of understanding and support means so much to me.

Postcards to Voters- I love that this is one more way to connect with the Postcards to Voters organization and take concrete steps to make a difference. This app also makes it easy for those of us involved to establish contact with each other for the purpose of supporting each other‘s efforts.
A wonderful way to support each other.
What I appreciate most about this app is that it facilitates activists encouraging each other. I feel this is especially helpful for people who may not have a supportive group of friends and family. This allows people in red areas to feel connected to their peers in blue areas. It is emotionally fulfilling to receive feedback thanking me for the volunteering that I am doing.

Jazz Up Your Activism
This is an update to my review. I’ve been using the app for 8 months. With nearly 2,000 of our volunteers signed up, the app is making engagement, encouragement, and expression so much easier.
Folks who have been ditching Facebook enjoy lots of Amplify’s community-oriented features. Others who already liked FB adapt quickly to the intuitive user interface here.
It’s a powerful addition to the ways we reach our volunteers with new actions for them to take. It’s clean, well-organized, and incredibly-supported by a team that takes pride in the product.
Since it’s free, you have nothing to lose taking it for a spin. And everything to gain as soon as you start using it for your own activism aid.

Helps me stay connected to community
I like the good feeling I get every time I use the app. With every Thank You and comment that I give or receive I know I am a part of something greater than myself. The positive energy keeps me writing postcards. The app is a great complement to Postcards To Voters and keeps me feeling connected.

Like a social activism to do list :)
I’ve been using this app as part of the group Postcards to Voters and I really like it. It makes it super easy to know what the group is up to on any given day, and it allows members to “root” for each other, which that little social boost can be quite motivating when you’re doing civic activism from home. Recommended.

I like this app. I must be honest I have not been using this app long, but I have explored all its features. I hope as time goes on, there may be more expansion of ways to connect. I find it frustrating that I cannot interact with the other people who are on this app.
That said - when I signed up, everything was very intuitive! Going through the Actions felt empowering. Welcoming others felt good too. Yet there is no way to share this that sense of purpose. Asking what others have done. Maybe some “Best Practices” sort of tutorials. Having never been involved in activism before, this seemed like something I could get behind. Thanks for making this work!

I am easily motivated with accountability. I have done a few "postcards for voters" but I love how this app lets you show when you have completed very simple activism activities. We may not all know how to "be the change we want to see in the world" or be able to do amazing things but we can all do little things and get a little pat on the back by seeing our accomplishment totals. I love the weekly challenge idea and it's so easy to do! Thanks!

Great tool!
This app is basically a to-do list for your local Indivisible campaign. It keeps you organized, gives you reminders and keeps track of your streak. So good! I didn't realize I needed all that until I used the app.
The one flaw I found is that it doesn't let you be in multiple groups at once, but once I decided to switch to Postcards to Voters, I got immediate help from an actual human. A volunteer who helps run the app flipped a few switches for me. Easy!

Easy to Use and Effective
So easy to use the app to get updated information about what will help candidates the most. It made getting postcards to voters easy and is totally integrated with a few other advocacy activities. A roll up of information in a single place. Thanks!

User friendly, organized, filled with information, it's exactly what we needed in our growing Postcards to Voters movement(started by the ever so brilliant and dedicated Tony the Democrat).
