don't listen to the whiners....I have been a pro for 30 years, this is incredible. I still use it in 2025, works great with my blueboard. It has a few models and cabs that rock my socks off even today, and also has looper and looks and feels beautiful. And if you are strapped for cash, you can get a killer amp and cab of your choice for about 10 bucks. You can make a whole record with just that. I did. It has really great OFFICIAL amps from Fender, Seymour Duncan and more....what's not to like

Garbage don’t buy
Buy Amplitube Max, pay twice to unlock
I purchased Amplitube Max from IK Multimedia’s web site and have unlocked all the amps, pedals, etc., and despite using the same account credentials to log in, none of these items are unlocked in the iOS version of the app.
What this effectively means is, if I want to use an effect from something I already paid to use, I have to purchase it again through the iOS app. If you want to only spend your money once, pick which platform you want to use … your computer, or your iOS device.

everything is locked behind a pay wall

Unstable and unreliable
This app used to be fantastic, replaced my analog rig when I added the stomp io to it. Now it just freezes all the time! Glad I don’t gig anymore because this app is totally unreliable.

Does not work with Logic Pro for iPad
I have the full bundle, and once I got into Logic Pro, it does not work. Ik Multimedia you need to get your act together and make this a plug-in. I have a lot of money invested in this, and it’s worthless to record.

Does not work reliably with modern iPad Pro
Got this hoping I could use my iRig Stomp pedal board, but it only works about 1 time in 10,m if you’re lucky.
In theory, you’re supposed to be able to connect an iPad Pro via a USB-B to USB-C cable but, in reality, this will only work about 1 time in 10. The rest of the time, the iRig Stomp I/O will not recognise the device at all, and the app won’t let you add/edit pedals.
On the rare occasions it does work, the sound is incredibly tinny and poor quality compared to the desktop app.
If you were planning to use AmpliTube in a gig, reliability is paramount… which is probably why you never see anyone using it on stage (certainly not with an iPad)!

You make pretty good products. You know you do. I own Amplitube 5 for my Mac and it’s great. It’s been worth every penny and more. The Fender amps sound great.
When I bought an iRig 2 HD for practice and making stuff on the go, I got Amplitube SE, with only a handful of pedals and amps…fine. You guys aren’t Apple. You can’t give away software for free to make your platform more sticky.
But the upsell. Oh goodness, the ads for IK stuff, every time I open the app! We’re amateur guitar players, folks. You don’t need to convince us to buy more gear and plug-ins. Let me enjoy the thing I just bought without trying to sell me again right away or make me sift through amp and pedal menus cluttered with stuff I didn’t pay for yet. Put a store menu in the main menu. I’ll get over there eventually, believe me.
So, I’ve deleted this app. Going to use the stock stuff in GarageBand. Which actually might not sound as good.
Anyway, great products, keep up the good work.

BPM cannot be changed
The BPM function for the looper cannot be changed. You press it and there are no potions to change it from 120bpm. It’s as if the bpm choice wheel has been taken out and all you get is 120bpm. Might need an update. Ok for what it is though I wouldn’t buy the full version.
Not impressed
This app and the whole iOS experience has been a complete disappointment to say the least. This whole thing is just designed to keep you buying stuff for crappy apps that don’t work without the other and it’s sickening. I’m sticking to real gear.
Just Crashes
Was good. Now it just crashes before it opens. Would not recommend this.
Needs an update
The app works well but does not have the features that other apps offer. There is no tone net and no way to share presets between the desktop app, so you are stuck with the presets that it came with and the ones you create. The app also lacks dual channel / two amp feature that other apps have. Overall it works but not My go to as it lacks so man features.

Stupid
Well the app itself seems cool, but you cannot access the user manual unless you register an account on their website. But in doing so, you must give authorization for them and Fender to freely use your personal information for whatever marketing purposes they wish. I find that coercive, rude, and unacceptable.

Looks like this app hasn’t been updated for the iPad mini 6th gen, which came out about 7 months ago…
Not working
I got the All-in-one Bundle 2021 and now is not working. I got it coz it was a great deal and for some reason I have to buy it again. Not cool from you guys
