Tried multiple times to create an account which seems to work - but then won’t let me log in with it!

I have tried to register on the app multiple times and it comes up with what I believe to be an error message, but as it is written in the Chinese script I cannot understand what it is saying. This is patently ridiculous as the app is otherwise in English, yet when there is an issue it reverts to a language that the user cannot understand. Reporting a problem is not much better, as this gives a generic link to a textbook website also written in Chinese.
