Actually keeps me accountable without frills
I’ve tried a lot of things to log practice, but the simplicity of this app makes it easy. If you want to log, you can. If you just want to track, go ahead. It works seamlessly.
Pretty good
Over all this app is pretty good. Two things I wish it would do better though.
1. Make it free. I play multiple instruments and it won’t allow me to log them if a don’t pay. Also some features are not there if I don’t pay,
2. Make it more engaging. I think I might want to practice more if the streak was more intense and if you had a cute little mascot cheering me on.
Otherwise this app is quite amazing. I have recommended it to friends.

Best practice journaling solution I’ve used
Edit: after a few months of use, I bought a full pro license, not because the free version was missing anything I needed, but because I’m so happy with this practice journal and wanted to support.
I’ve tried a number of different methods for documenting practice: pen and paper, spreadsheet templates, daily planners, none have worked as well as this. It quickly tracks everything I need without being too much, and gets out of the way just as quickly so I can go back to practicing.

I wish it synced with other phones
This is a great practice app and easy, functional interface for learners of all kinds. my biggest criticism is that it doesn’t interact with anything other than iPhone. Could there maybe be an update where you can add friends from other phones this would be a huge plus.

A Game Changer!
This app is clearly made by a musician for musicians! Unlike so many of the developers out there that blatantly mimic whatever is popular, cramming every bell and whistle into an app to try and compete, Andante is simple and elegant. It has everything the serious musician needs to dial in and sustain a fun and fruitful practice regimen. Once you get your head around the work flow, it all clicks into place and you are off to the races. Whether you are a person who is solely focused on learning pieces, or a multi instrumentalist that needs to make every moment of free practice time count, Andante has you covered. It truly spurs you on to practice more and keeps your practice organized in way that creates a thread between all the work you have done before. It’s user friendly and dead simple at face value, but far more complex under the hood than you might expect. The tools are all right there where you need them to be without any distraction. I will definitely be using this app for years to come, and I look forward to watching it evolve… Also, it’s a 1 time payment!!! Bravo!!

The rare perfect app
Andante is delightful. Exactly the tools you need for intentional practice and no extra cruft.
Improving my playing one day at a time!
I love this app. It’s great for capturing my focus and for keeping me on track with my practice schedule. I was also able to see patterns within my practice for example, I’m a much better player in the morning. I highly recommend this app.

I love this app!! It really helps me lock in and keep track of my progress. Keeps me accountable. The in app features are also very helpful, especially the audio recorder.

Simple and Brilliant
It’s rare to come across an app that so directly and roundly delivers on its function. I use this for my daily practice, great for staying accountable and tracking and recording progress.
The app I’ve been searching for (get it if you want to keep track of and improve any skill)
I’ve been looking for a long time for an app that can track progress that is intuitive, simple, but has all the features I want (and none of the fluff) AND isn’t a subscription. I downloaded the free version (limited to one “profile” aka one instrument/activity) and after about a week I bought the full version. Now I have two profiles - piano and guitar, but one can make many more or even custom ones - you could track any activity you’d like, however, it is made for musicians - it has built in metronome, tuner and a record button too, which saves clips of your practice to the session (recording yourself is always eye opening ). There is space to put in notes about the session (what was practiced, how did it go etc) and a journal tab (I use mine for setting long term goals) It’s seriously awesome, it helps me to stay focused (I pause it when I get interrupted and just having the session open makes me motivated to come back), it is very intuitive and a great tool for anyone who wants to get better at their instrument (or anything else). Not sponsored, I just love it.

Best tracking app ever!!!
I love it so much. It helps me stay focused and make sure that my practice sessions and consistency is tracked. I love this app so so much. It has really helped me to keep a note of my progress very well. Highly recommend ❤️

Needs 3 things:
1. The ability to pause a practice session.
2. The ability to add pix and vids to the notes.
3. A practice session planner.
But is very good, it’s helped to to see how inconsistent my practice is, and helping me to improve it.

I LOVE Andante ! My only suggestion would be to add friends and create a support section on the app. Like Duolingo how you can see your friend’s streaks and cheer them on!
