Consistently terrible digital experience
I can’t understand why in 2026 any company or organization would have an app as frustrating as this one. Honestly, there has got to be some college student somewhere who could build a better one in a weekend. This app is clunky, cumbersome and has a huge glitch that should have been caught during basic approval. When trying to update my account several fields are mandatory (they shouldn’t be). One is the genre but the drop down menu shows the locations. When have pick a location just so the genre field populates. Then when you go to the next field that is location, and you select one, the selection in the genre field changes to something random.
Just maddening. Please fix this.

App used to work - no longer allows me to login
I’ve used the app for several years and it was a fairly seamless way to get tickets to my favorite movies. The last two times I tried it would not allow me to login - just kept refreshing the blank login page. Deleting and reinstalling the app made no difference. Last time I called the theater to get tickets, and they said others were having trouble with the app. This time I went to the website where I logged in successfully and bought my tickets. Looks like I’ll just take the app off my phone until the problem is fixed.

Never works
Many bugs in this app that send you either into a loop you can’t get out of, or for me a white screen I can’t get past.
Don’t bother
This app is just a glorified web browser that barely works. It’s just unacceptable that other theaters have working apps but this theater doesn’t and still charges 30 dollars a ticket and has uncomfortable seats!
Terrible app
Has the app developer ever tried the using it? The top banner refreshes every 3 second which changes your place on the page every 3 seconds. You can’t stay in the same spot and read anything on the page without constantly scrolling to find your place again. Trying to change the date is nearly impossible. I love this theater but the app is awful!

So Buggy It’s Annoying
I’ve not seen a more poorly designed app since 2014. I slog through it because we like the theater itself but getting tickets is always so annoying. No clue why they don’t hire someone else to fix it.
Points Stolen
I applied my rewards points to movie tickets I purchased, but it charged me full price and my points were never restored. Emailed customer service several times but never got a reply :/
Glitchy Ads
The changing ads at the top of the app cause the movie listings to jump up and down as the unseen ads change. It's annoying, frustrating, and poor in modern app quality.
Great Improvement
The rewards tab is improved a lot and responds faster. Thank you.

Worst app ever! Mot use friendly at all. Constantly have issues
Literally the worst app ever!
Second review after giving it 2 years to improve. Many alleged bug fixes but after the most recent one (this week) now when enter login info screen just goes white. I have to close the app to get it to go away! STILL won’t let me pay for tickets without locking up - every single time. I just now use the website.

The most recent update didn’t help
This app is just awful. I’m barely able to buy tickets due to page jumping around, text overlaying movie times, weird screen refreshes, etc. is this someone’s jr high school coding project?
Some how you made your app worse!!
Unbelievable! but it made me update and it’s worse than before! I select movie time, select tickets but no way to push NEXT button! So can’t go any father to get tix.

Great theater, terrible app
Love this theater and so glad it exists and continues to support independent cinema the way it does. The app though is something to deal with or put up with. Complete disaster. Constantly refreshing so you can’t Roxy on anything for more than 2-3 seconds. Navigation is incomprehensible. Ticket buying process is barely workable. But worth it for the films and venue.

This app is impossible to use. I can’t even get my gift card balance, much less buy tickets on it. Every single time I try to use, I log in then get a blank screen. Please hire someone who can fix this. You already closed my favorite theater (Plano), the Dallas location is a long drive away, but I would like to be able to buy a ticket!
