I downloaded by mistake thinking this would generate cards I need my money back !

Anki is probably the best program you can use for learning a language. I initially was hesitant to buy the app bc of the price, but it was definitely worth it to be able to study when I’m not at home, and after using the free desktop version for years it was nice to support the developers. My only issues with the app are I wish it would auto-sync when you open the app (and would be nice for it to auto-sync when you exit out of a deck), but remembering to click the sync button before and after every session isn’t a huge deal. I also wish you could change a deck’s settings from the app, but that’s also not a huge problem.

Best thing for heavy memorisation classes but a bit expensive on phone
Its very convenient and i tend to doom scroll a lot so at least its stopping me and i can learn my actual content. Only thing is it lacks a few features other apps have such as making the flash card off the material for you. But honestly i prefer making them myself; I have found it very helpful memorising krebs cycle and anatomy, physiology and chemistry concepts. I used the laptop version throughout year 11 and 12 and now in uni its basically just evolved into my go to app. The synchronising is quite handy as well as i can like transfer my decks.

Great learning app
Super useful to learn anything you want. I use it for language learning. Add-ons allow AI to pronounce what your learning. You can create cards to fit exactly what you are learning in that moment.
Not Beginner Friendly
My experience with open-source isn't negligible, so I feel a little annoyed about this app's presentation. Flash-card nomenclature must be something else, because just trying to sort the cards in your deck is a
bizarre and not entirely successful endeavour, which always sucks. Seems like a little 'quick-start' guide might bring in a lot of backers.
