Can’t get started
Im sure this is a great app but I can’t even register. I get a JSON error about the number format when trying to register my phone number. Tried to log a support ticket but you need an account to do that. So hoping to get an answer here ??
The best
The absolute best app for a phone number. No sim, no e sim works for everything. I would suggest a feature or function of being able to purchase second number within the app.
Just Fantastic
This is a great service and app, I have been using it for years and it does what it says. I have never had any problems, it works! I fully recommend to any one looking for a second number be it for work or pleasure!!
Can’t cancel
They tell me go to the app or Apple subscriptions to cancel. I keep trying. It’s not in subscriptions and I can’t cancel on the app.

I originally chose this app to provide me with a second number for a previous job, as I didn’t want to give my personal phone number to colleagues, suppliers, etc for work purposes (no work phone was provided and I was expected to use my own handset). I didn’t want to have to carry two phones with me when I briefly considered buying a separate handset and SIM.
After some research I discovered Another Number and decided to give it a go. I loved being able to choose my own virtual second number, and configuring the app was very straightforward. It was very easy making and receiving calls and texts via the app. The only slight downside was that I couldn’t use my second number with WhatsApp, so I had to join my team’s WhatsApp group using my personal number, but otherwise it did everything so needed it to.
I cancelled my subscription after that job came to an end, and recently started a new job which requires a number to use with customers, suppliers etc as (again) work mobiles aren’t provided. My new manager suggested setting up a second eSIM, but I really like the functionality provided by Another Number, such as scheduling Do Not Disturb hours (including auto-replies to texts). The good news is my new employer offered to cover the cost of my subscription for the app, which I happily accepted.
I’ve added my Another Number virtual number to my work email signature & Teams status, and would happily recommend the app to anyone needing a separate number for work or similar purposes.

Absolute scam renewed but no service
I paid my subscription but can’t receive any service that is a joke and so is this service
Lately Not Great
Changed my phone and ever since no incoming calls are coming through. Rings once and straight to voicemail. It’s been going on for over two months with no resolution !!

Great second number app!
I signed up to this app to use for my business and I’m loving it so far. Support helped me port in my number with virtually no down time, and even imported my customer contacts for me. I wanted something that kept my business separate without running dual sim as this just lumps all the texts and calls together with no way to differentiate them. I love the do not disturb function also and the way it can auto reply to texts! Really happy so far, I would definitely recommend if you need a business number and want to keep everything separate! Thank you.

They sell your number on
This seemed like a good service until v recently. Basically you can make your own phone number, add a voicemail of your choice, and use it for whatever you want. For me, it was for verification codes from apps that I didn’t want to have my old number. I never got a chance to use it yet though…read below.
As of today, am going to bow out of using this service. After four days of having it, they (as I’ve not given this number to anyone else) have sold my number onto a scam hotline for “3 mobile” trying to say I owe money. I’ve never been with 3 and never given this number to anyone. Googled the number and it’s a well known scam.
There also isn’t a straightforward way to copy and paste your number on this app without sending a whole message out.

Excellent
Great app for using a U.K. number on a European mobile. Easy to use with great backup when needed. It could be even better.. my calls route through voip and a local call number would be a very welcome addition but mostly calls are clear there are no issues. Great value, highly recommended
Love it
This is the future, I don’t know why anyone would tie their primary phone number to a specific device. Put it in the cloud and have freedom and security.
I would love to see the dialer and contacts more closely integrated with the native iOS platform but understand this may be an apple limitation.

A very useful little app
Does what it says on the tin. Gives you a second number without additional SIM. Very reasonable price. Can piggyback on your network, or use network data or WiFi. Facilities for messages and voicemail with personalised messages and easy to use holiday/ day off feature.
Doesn’t work with some providers
Took me a while to figure out but this app is non compatible with some UK phone operators, this means when you call certain numbers from the App, a message will appear to say ‘incorrect number’ however, if you call that number without using the App it’ll connect. It’s frustrating, the unsupported networks also can’t call or text your another number. I wish I knew this before downloading the App. Other than that, it’s a great App.
