Absolutely fantastic application
It is one of the greatest English dictionaries that has like ever existed. Words cannot describe how to express my feelings about this utmost perfect and wonderful repertoire of words. This application has saved me multiple times, such as during English essay writing sessions in which I do not have the time to actively look inside a paper dictionary and flip through the endless pages of nauseating ink. “Antidote Mobile - English” is a quick and simple method of searching any word in the English language. I truly recommend it to anyone interested in writing better English and hence why I am writing this review; to leave a comment to the Antidote application developers for their most excellent work on this grandiose system. I am also attempting to draw potential customers to using this app for I personally feel this will make anyone be able to excel in the English language.

Great but costly
It’s a great app ! Awesome ! super useful,gives accurate definitions (most of the time ), really useful dictionaries : synonyms,antonyms,combinations,conjugation,rhymes,quotations and MORE ! But it costs money : 11,99 per year, i think ?
I personally think it works perfectly…
We’re using this app at school and it works… I was surprised to realize that most of the people don’t like it… And for the cost of the app, well, it’s not only a dictionary, it does even more… Since I’m still young, I can’t really evaluate the cost of the app, but I think it’s great… even if the cost is a bit excessive…
By the way I use the French version so it may be different then the English one…
And, lastly, I’ve never had any problems with the app, so I‘be never had the “occasion” to communicate with them…

$18 a year for a dictionary?
Are you guys for a real? When you buy a book for $20, do you also continue to pay $20 a year to keep that book on your bookshelf until you give it back? This is a joke. Please either keep it real and let us actually buy your dictionary, or keep your subscription-model and your dictionary too.

Pratiques lamentables
Les versions précédentes (payantes) ont été amputées de certaines fonctions uniquement pour obliger l’utilisateur qui souhaite les retrouver à passer au modèle économique de l’abonnement : LAMENTABLE. J’ai conscience que mon ancienne application ne bénéficiera pas des nouveautés, mais c’est mon droit de l’utiliser tel quel, et ce jusqu’à ce qu’elle ne soit plus supportée par iOS. Mais, à contrario, de quel droit cette société nous enlève des fonctions pour lesquelles on a payé ? Le système des abonnements est peut-être nécessaire pour cette entreprise, mais cela implique du client d’avoir confiance en l’entreprise (du jour au lendemain la grille tarifaire peut être ajustée, des fonctions réservées à certaines options tarifaires, etc.). J’appréciais sincèrement Druide et son logiciel Antidote, et je réfléchissais sincèrement à passer à leur abonnement, mais au vu de leurs dernières manigances purement mercantiles, la confiance est rompue. Adieux Druide.

Floué et ignoré
Comme d’autres ici, j’estime que j’ai été floué; vous avez changé les règles unilatéralement en cours de route. Je vous ai écrit il y a des mois pour porter plainte à ce sujet, mais je n’ai jamais obtenu de réponse. J’aime Antidote, j’en suis fier en tant que Québécois, mais vos pratiques me laissent un goût amer.
