Re-design is rubbish
The latest update with a redesign of where the buttons are, is rubbish. Half baked changed and mis-matched fonts. If it ain’t broken, don’t ‘fix it’ for the sake of ‘progress’! Who on the design/development team approved this?

Please, please, please remove the ‘deregister’ button from the bottom right hand corner of the app landing page. My grandpa (90) is CONSTANTLY hitting it by accident and deregistering his account. He is unable to re register by himself because he doesn’t understand how to use a OTP. This means is is locking is app, blocking his phone from receiving the OTP and sometimes even going to far as managing to lock his online access. The only way to get the phone unlocked for a OTP is over the phone and his poor hearing makes this really challenging and he doesn’t always have anyone to help support him.
Please, remove the deregister button from the front page. Please!

Hate this app feature
Only lets you set a bank pin here or through an internet banking. That’s just terrible ux
Was fine, now unusable since about a week ago. Now zero access to my money.
I’ve used this app for years, it’s had its moments of shortcomings but overall it’s been pretty dependable. That was until last week, where the app doesn’t load at all, I get stuck on a blue screen and then it crashes completely.
Really not ideal as it was happening on and off for a week until yesterday when I haven’t been able to access my money at all, whatsoever for about 24 hours now.
I’ve reached out to support, followed all their support advice, but that doesn’t do much when I’m waiting to hear back from support and urgently need access to my funds. My car is being serviced and I have to somehow figure out a solution to actually be able to pay it in an hour, considering the app has been completely unusable. With zero access to my money.

Happy with ANZ BANK
Hi, will ANZ BANK add notifications feature into the app? I hate when I receive my pay from work, not knowing if or when will my pay get in my bank. I have to login into the app to see if I have received money or not. Commbank,nab have that feature already, hope anz will implement this feature soon. But apart from this, I love anz app and very easy to use. Thank you!

Ok, laggard of big 4
App is very basic when compared to the other 3 big banks. Creates unnecessary friction when completing many tasks that are just easy on the other banking apps. Customer experience is not a core focus it seems.

Can’t redraw from mortgage on app
Very annoying that you cannot redraw from home loan account into daily. Can only be done on desk top website.
Can’t get access
Unable to find my details, I don’t have an ANZ card, unable to chat with anyone. I’m overseas so I can’t call anyone. Therefore I cannot update my details required by many do not reply emails .

on a iPhone 6 can’t use the app and the browser doesn’t work cause it’s so “advanced” that it cant be loaded

Still doesn’t work in Portrait on IPad
I have a disability which makes it difficult to use my only computer, which is an iPad Pro, in landscape. This ANZ app is fairly useless for me as it always displays in landscape, even though I hold the device in portrait. Have been complaining about this for years. Don’t you want to help people who have accessibility problems? I have 200-plus apps and this is the only one that gives me this problem.

The app is reasonably slow on the latest iOS. Statements regularly do not appear “please try again later”. Aside from the app lagging, payments take up to 3 days with bank transfer to reflect so you need to be several days ahead or you’re caught off guard. Lots of refreshing needed. I like ANZ overall and I wish they were better but it is the lagging that has made me choose to go elsewhere :/.

Expenses breakdown
What happened to the breakdown of expenditure? Not only has this very handy service disappeared but the historical value has also gone. Very disappointed that ANZ didn’t think this was a useful service and deleted it in one of its recent updates.

Account Balance Preview
Love the App but why did you remove the account balance preview on the Apple Home Screen???? It’s so frustrating. Please can you look at brining this back. Why can’t this be an option with a setting for those that do not wish for their balances to show?
