At Anzen, we are developing a solid-state heat pump that is quick, easy, and affordable to retrofit in hard to decarbonise homes while saving energy bills. We use thermoelectric technology to perform room-to-room space heating, cooling, and ventilation with no outdoor unit, and no refrigerants and vapor compression. The system can be installed in all types of homes in under 3 hours and does not require an F-gas certified installer, in fact, any local electrician or inhouse technician can be easily upskilled to install Anzen systems. With the patent-pending solid-state heat pump system, Anzen creates a Direct Impact on reducing GHG emissions and improving the Well-being of homes. Heating in the UK contributes to 17% of the total GHG emissions. With our system installed, we can mitigate 2.81t of CO2e per home per year. We also improve residents' well-being by providing a holistic climate control system that provides fresh air and humidity controls to remove damp and mold from the home.
