App crashes as soon as the phone connects
Camera is Black
The camera screen is black it’s not working at all, I tried to get in touch with support but it’s impossible to get connected! I can’t use the tracking system on my normal camera and that’s why I bought the device in the first place. They need to work more on the support and help system because it’s horrible

Download the app to connect my gimbal and the app keeps asking for a verification code but there is no way to get one when trying to register the device

diese App negativ bewerten ich habe sie mehrmals mit dem dazugehörigen Gimbal von Aochuan getestet und musste feststellen das dass System nicht funktioniert bzw. instabil ist …. Ich spreche hier ausschließlich für mich und ich bin zu dem Ergebnis gekommen das ich weder den Aochuan Smart Xe Combo 1 nochmal kaufen werde geschweige die App weiter nutze

this app screws up the gimbal operations. once initiated online it fails to connect with the gimbal although it says that it's connected. many times i tried even uninstalling then reinstalling but same error occurs ( motor calibration ready) tried restarting but same error tried calibratng separate but nothing happens). finally uninstalled the app then turned the gimbal on and my iPhone and everything started up with no faults. system worked perfectly with the gimbal menu appearing on the led screen. so in conclusion after doing eliminations this app is at fault. thank God! because i was about to return this gimbal something i really don't want to do because the gimbal itself works fine!.

Don’t bother
App is awful. Have reloaded twice. Camera just shows black screen.

The app keeps crashing when I try to use it. And it doesn’t seem to be a way to turn the phone off of landscape mode
Doesn’t work with iOS26
Since the update to iOS 26 the app crashes constantly and wants permissions that are already granted.

The application can only be used after pairing with the appropriate gimbal model. Be careful after installing the application, it wants to allow almost everything in the world :D Choose only the most necessary, I limited myself to Bluetooth and selected photos from the gallery. The functions in the application surprised me, you can set advanced photo and video functions that are available elsewhere for money. You can also adjust the basic gimbal settings, such as acceleration of movement when tracking the face/body, inversion of joystick movement and others. In photo/video mode, several preset functions are available, including for movement/zoom/panoramic photography. The main screen of the application is full of short but effective tutorials on how to control the 3-axis stabilizer and other tips and tricks. I recommend watching all of them, even those that are not the same as your model, it helped me. Saving videos and photos without problems. I like the application overall and can recommend it.

Doesn’t Deliver as Advertised
Definitely not what you are lead to think it is when deciding to purchase. Does not deliver any of the feature’s consistently.

That is the only constant thing it does. I would suggest not to subject yourself to it and spend a few more $ and get something you won’t spend the majority of the time being 🤬 about it.

Horrible to use for M1 Pro
I’ve had this for a year and the body tracking doesn’t work. I have to turn off my video stabilization close the camera and when I opened up the app again it still didn’t work.
The AI tracker isn’t even working. There’s no updates. That’s all S1 or X1now and anyone who has the MR pretty much left behind.
I highly recommend do not buy this. There’s better ones on TikTok shop or Temu
