User reviews

Video & photos successfully submitted

I managed to upload videos & photographs of both eyes ahead of my on-line annual contact lens check up successfully, which meant that the consultant could check my eyes completely prior to the call. The video call was therefore just a discussion about my eyes, vision and general health.
You may notice several negative reviews about the app, I suggest that you delay trying to login to the app until you receive an email from AOS, which is prompted by Vision Express when you make the virtual appointment, this contains the activation code & PIN you require to login to AOS, it’s then a very simple process. Before attempting any video/photographs, wait until you receive an email from Vision Express with a pdf attachment that describes the video & photographs that are required & how to get the best results.

Terrible. No information or instructions on what they want you to do.
A 10 year old could have designed a better process in half an hour. It appears they just haven’t cared.

Terrible app

The 5 star review is clearly written by someone who works for the developer. Absolutely terrible user experience - plus no obvious way of getting an activation code to use the app in the first place. Says a lot about Vision Express that they would recommend such a rubbish app.

No instructions

No instructions or guide of how to use the the app.

Really easy

Sent photos to my optician before appointment really quickly, didn’t have any problems
