Absolutely the best one!
Of all the Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) apps that I could find on the App Store this was, hands-down, the best one.
When I noticed that it was missing one small feature, I reached out to the developer and he quickly added the feature for me. It is now perfect!
The app is entirely free with ads, but you can tip the developer a small amount to remove the ads and support his excellent work.

i have literally just downloaded this app but it is incredible! i am already obsessed with it. you can really easily add the image as a widget to your home screen and updates everyday, the picture quality is amazing and it is completely free!!! thank you for creating the app, it is exactly what i wanted from it!!!
