What's New in Apogee Reader

1.1.1

October 15, 2026

• Select text for a new highlight card: colours, a note, copy, look up, translate, share and more, in books and PDFs • Pin smart scopes and collections to Home • Prepare for Listening saves your server's voice for a downloaded book, so Speak can use it offline • Speak shows server voices by name, with fewer pauses mid-sentence • Long-press a series to download all of it • Group comics by story arc • Fanfic Updates keeps AO3 styling, such as tweet threads and text messages, and can bring it back to fics you already have • Read & Listen pairs an audiobook with its ebook even when their chapter titles differ • PDF pages should fill the screen's width, and highlights sit on the words you chose • Messages from Apogee appear as one banner at the top of the screen • With BookOrbit 3.4 or later: request a book's missing format, or an ebook and its audiobook together • Better translations, and many smaller fixes

Super unpolished

The app is very laggy and crashes my iphone

Awesome

Better and more polished then the official bookorbit app. Just wish you could pin a smart scope to the homepage.
