Malware
The ads have malware. The malware adds a bookmark on the homescreen, automatically set your brightness to max, causing your phone to overheat. Not sure what else it does, maybe stealing password etc., we will see. Google search about this app shows they had a similar issue in the past as well. They do nothing about it, emailed them, no reply, unprofessional.

一個好差嘅App。官方App 做乜咁多廣告？我有俾錢搭車架。App裏面個地圖仲衰，不停咁跳去上車位置，想睇吓條路線真難。
Too many ads
As KMB are serving the public, it dosent make sense that to place advertising into the APP to causes the very bad user experience, to be honest, people using this APP are most likely in urgent situations, and the Ads is totally ruins the time and schedule
What’s unbelievable is that this app actually pops up toxic phishing ads.
I have already reported this matter to 18222.
UX Problems In Bookmark
Updated: figured out how to order bookmark, but it is not clear and it kinda looking like a hidden feature. Please consider showing some hints to make the users know that the list item can be draggable after clicked the edit button.

Why have an app aimed at tourists when you cannot read English throughout? Starts off asking to chose English then stops!!! Pointless junk!
Why such a bad app?
Can you stop the ads please? They are fine as banners but on the full screen for several seconds when you’re trying to catch a bus? Really?!
One moment the app shows my bus’s, 900 to wan chai, the next it’s gone, why? I can search for 900 but then I can’t find the the time it arrives, I can’t bookmark the bus I can only bookmark the destination

Was great but annoying now
The app used to be quite useful. It still is, if you can get past the annoying full page ads that like to keep popping up and hide the “x” for you to close the window.
Maybe sometime in the future it will care about its core function (providing bus info) and not a profit platform via Ads.

廣告非常多，打開APP時加載一次廣告，搜索時加載一次廣告。點進去查看詳情時，只要切換到其他應用，再切換回來又加載一次廣告。我不明白為什麼你在一次使用週期裡面要給APP用戶加入這麼多的廣告？？？
只能說明這個APP開發者要麼就沒有用過這個APP，要麼就是沒有真的想讓大家去使用這個APP。
雖然他也有整合了所有公交實時搜索功能，但是我不推薦大家使用這個。如果大家想要搜尋巴士的交通信息的話，建議使用其他APP。

Could miss the bus time due to annoying ads!
Inaccurate time
The bus is shown on the app to arrive at a certain time it shows 20 mins left then boom after 5 seconds it shows 15 then another 5 it shows 20 again and it disappears you know how many people have to arrive at a certain place at a certain time due to their work or other severe emergencies it’s getting worse every update ,Please Fix this ASAP!!!!!!!!!! And then here comes another cannot even pay to buy only pass wow each time this kind of thing happens i get less surprised and already expect this is gonna happen 100 percent !!!!

Should Be Called “KMB Pop-up Ad App”
This app is a complete disaster. Every time I switch between functions, it gets stuck on an endless loading screen — like the whole thing is just a pop-up ad pretending to be a bus app. I can’t even access basic features before it refreshes itself.
The best part? Every update claims to “improve user experience,” which is either a running joke or proof the developers have never used their own app.
Don’t bother installing. It’s a waste of time and phone storage.

One of the worst travel apps ever!
It is hard to believe this is an official app for the biggest bus company in Hong Kong! Where to start? Pop up Ads not just one but basically every other page. When you are looking for a bus it is rare you will have time to want to watch an Ad. Bookmark function seems to have changed, if it is available it is not well hidden. Basically I can only bookmark an exact location I want to go but not a specific bus, is this right? I even just tried to bookmark the exact bus stop of the bus I want, but going backwards when you want to go there, the bookmark will not work and the bus will not show us. The search function has zero AI I believe, it will provide you with many bus alternatives and include many bus changeovers, is it just trying to get us to pay for more bus rides. Honestly this has so far been the worst app I have ever used, not just useless but also frustrating which is worse than bad. Now I find I tend to use google or other way to find a bus or just walk to the bus stop and look. It takes less time and more useful and less frustrating. Just by making me write a review and rate your app, you know how good or BAD you are….

I hope KMB management realizes that users of this app are often in a rush. It’s absolutely ridiculous to include annoying full-screen ads every time I check the ETA.
and your ai route query is trash, how can you can mess up a simple LLM / google map wrapper? I can’t even search for the routes with a direct bus or just one change.
AI doesn’t make your app sounds cool, a solid user experience does. I am not going here to beta-test your features on production, make your API public if you can’t make a simple features correct.

Ads first, schedules last
Ads coming up every one or two route searches, and I mean ads that cannot be closed right away, e.g. Kingshot which forces you to play the game in the ads for a few seconds before you can press Next and again forces you to open App Store, visit their page, before the X finally appears randomly in any corner of your screen. You search your routes, back, and before you start another search it showed up again.
Don’t bother this apps it’s far worse than garbage in terms of user experience.

From Bad to Worse
Very poor App getting from bad to worse. It is not a real time data App. They probably don’t use GPS. Buses that are supposed to arrive according to their info does not arrive. Where has it gone? 2 buses scheduled to arrive did not arrive. No compassion to the Citybus App. The people working for KMB should be fired! Understand that this is a public transport App and rely on it for travelling! If your buses are not coming Do Not Mislead The Public! If your buses are not arriving we must know so we can change to other transport means!

Disastrous app update
Bus arrival times have become completely inaccurate. In old version I was also able to see what other bud lines are available at a particular bud stop but they took that away too.
If I could give negative star I would give a negative 10.
DO NOT rely on this app for bus arrival times. You are more likely to catch the bus without waiting too long by going to the bus stop whenever than to use the app.
