Description of the app content The augmented reality experience “contingencies” by Berlin-based artist Maja Rohwetter addresses the interference of reality and virtuality as a fundamental theme of painting: Virtual translations of painting fragments interact with the user's individual spatial environment, creating an individual collage of images and sounds. In her work, Maja Rohwetter explores a contemporary visual language between analog and digital, real and virtual. Against the backdrop of digital technologies and painting, she reflects on the ephemerality and constructedness of our concept of reality. Users can scale dimensions interactively and experiment with compositions that can be saved as screenshots via the app. Headphones can be connected to enhance the AR experience.
