We Need more Font Options
I would like this app better, if it simply had OpenDyslexic font, so that it's actually intelligible to me!
I prefer this app to Kindle for a MYRIAD of reasons... BUT, it is lacking in accessibility for people with dyslexia, which seems to me... to be an ADA issue.

Page slide option not working for pdfs
No matter if I changed it back and forth, when I open a pdf in the app, it only shows it in scroll mode even though I’ve chosen the page slide from settings-> books-> page navigation. On my friend’s iphone also with ios 26 it works with page slide.

Having the ability to simply press on my app and automatically see my library of books, makes this all worth it.
Need better features for audiobook
I like the ebook reading experience but for audiobooks, it’d be value added to play like Apple Music, like play a single chapter in loop.

This app is very good, it has good quality, has tons of books for u to read, and it’s safe for any age, bc according to ur age, some books are restricted for u, so it’s safe. The only problem I have with it is some of them cost money, which is incredibly annoying, like, why can’t all the books be for free??

I love this app, it is a top notch book app- you can find all the books her. Amazing!

I would like to be able to see my highlights in PDF files that I upload I would like to see collection folders instead of a collection menu that I have to click every time I would like to see more customisation options for background colour and font colour. Very important to be able to see notes on my PDFs and books that I write right now there is no such option.

here are some things i need from the bookstore app. the want to read feature, i want those books to stay in there and not be removed even if the release date has passed, i want to be able to see the dates no matter what view it is in. i don’t care if the store doesn’t carry the books, i want to see the titles. i know this doesn’t mesh with apples always be selling something. it would just be nice if i could go into the app and find my books in a nice list where i saved it.

I like reading samples of graphic novels but most of them are pretty expensive and the free ones aren’t vary good plus it won’t let me purchase any books not even the free ones

The dictionary doesn't work, which is like 50% of the reason I even read a non-physical book. Page turns are weird looking.
Issues with PDF editing in Apple Books after recent update.
1. Accidental exiting from PDF files when swiping across pages, as the gesture seems to be misinterpreted.
2. Resetting of the writing panel and tool preferences to default when the panel is minimized or repositioned.
3. Blurring occurring at the top of the screen when editing begins.
