Cannot edit responses
When you click edit respone from the […] a screen pops up and immediately vanishes.
Come on Apple, sort it out.

Love it!
I really enjoy doing invites this way because it makes RSVP much simpler and more visible. Very easy to send out as well. Makes party planning much less of a hassle!
Basic
Cuts off the bottom of my photo when you enter the invitation link
Doesn’t let you RSVP for guests that may not have access to a link or are not tech savvy.
Doesn’t let you select how many “additional guests” per group example if you select 5 “additional guests” everyone gets 5 additional guests.
If you restrict access guests you invited have to request to view your invitation.

Too Simplistic and Clunky
I like the overall idea but find the app too simplistic. I would like to be able to be more creative when designing the invited but wasn’t able. Android users had problems responding to the invite which created issues with knowing who was coming. When viewing the invite I created on my iPhone, I couldn’t see the photos I uploaded but could see them when viewing the invitation on my iPad. My main issue with the app is I could not see all the individuals I invited to determine who has not responded. It did show me a couple of individuals under “No Reply” but there was an additional 17 that also had not replied that were not shown. I would not use it again or recommend this app. Sorry Apple, you should have done better!

Unusable app
I could not get this app to perform an invite. It is clumsy and frustrating and frankly unworkable.
AMAZING
This is the most helpful app!
Guest list is not hidden
Despite what I read about guess being sent individual text messages, the Invites app sent the invitation as a group text message and exposed all of the guest names and phone numbers. It also exposed who is coming to my event even though Show Who’s Invited is turned off. i’m using the latest OS and latest version of the app.

This is a delightful APP. It truly makes party planning easier.
Slow disappointment
What started out at a great idea ended in a headache.
Took lots of time to add the guests send everybody out an individual invite.
Lots of people had issues opening the invitation. Prob cause they don’t have an iPhone?
So I would try to update their RSVP manually and the app continuously wouldn’t work properly, wouldn’t open up to correct page after pressing “change reply”to update the response. And when it did open, then it just wouldn’t save the updated response. Had to keep closing it down & reopening to try to get it to work.
“Send a note” doesn’t get sent out as an update / group notification.
I liked that you can add a few wigits, like a group music playlist. But the shared photo album never worked.
So frustrating in the end.
I do not recommend.
Save yourself the hassle & just do a Facebook event invite.

Can’t edit drafts
Can’t edit drafts invites. Its keeps saying refresh before edit. There’s no way to refresh
Don’t love the auto tinting
I use the invites app as a countdown widget on my screen and I love that. I just wish I could keep the actual colour instead of it automatically changing to what colour I have my apps tinted.
Excellent
Amazing app 💖
Apple Invites
Invite, Plan & Celebrate
Nice but
Very good app with lots of nice design features and options but you can’t make invitations if your sighged in to a child’s account, please change this it’s a ridiculous rule I think I’m old enough to make an invitation me being a teenager if you’re really that bothered please change it to 13
Really clungy
Disappointed app as it has so many opportunities to be great. Sadly once your invites list goes over a certain number, the app keeps crashing and won’t let you change whether people are coming or not
Retirement Invites
It took a little bit of work inside “settings” (Phone, iCloud, Photos, Invites) and a quick trip to the Apple Store, but the result turned out awesome!
RSVP
I wish we could add how many adults and how many children to the rsvp..
Functionality Lacking
the sign-in to icloud mess on this app makes it impossible to use. guests must sign in using icloud if they don't have the app. so that means even guests with an iphone can't accept your invite without friction. they either have to download the app OR sign in to icloud via safari - hope you know your password by heart!!!
if you have ever in your life had an icloud account associated with your email - you MUST log in. that means any guest who had an ipod touch 10 years ago MUST sign in using icloud .... even if they do not have an apple product now. youd think there was a way to bypass this but there isn't. sucks because it would otherwise be a good app but it causes so much friction for younger guests who do not want to deal with so much logging in.
