Aqara has always been extremely reliable for me. Phenomenal that it integrates with HomeKit so nicely.

Software ok. Hardware is not

I have the u200 door lock, I am a recluse and hardly go out. Yet the gears broke in 4 months, sent a warranty claim. Been weeks got a response I will revive a replacement in 5-8 weeks.
July 7 2026, Lock had been replaced free of charge, the new one did the same thing, I can shake the lock and hear the gear pieces rattle. Time to get a different brand

No dark mode

This app is unbelievably difficult for my aged eyes to use. How about a little contrast instead of light grey on white? Maybe even a dark mode? Or at least an option for larger fonts? I really love aqara home devices but this app is an assault on the elderly.
